Just a suggestion to improve ground combat. Perhaps take a leaf out of Deadspace/Resisdent Evil/DOOM
Ground combat as it is, is quite repetitive. Mobs stand around in a group waiting for you to come along and slaughter them.
How about having some hide from you in unsuspecting places? Hirogen playing dead, and as you scan them, they jump up and attack you?
Species 8470 falling from the ceiling to attack you (Like in the
Alien films)
How about some sound effects to go with it? clunking from benieth/above you from
something clamouring around in the jefferies tubes?
I loved the 'Ghost Ship' and 'Simple Mission' (SPOILER............................ ....................with section 21 Placing you in a holo chamber, this showed the dev team really watched the DS9 series..................................../END SPOILER)
These little twists I would like to see more of

Keep up the good work.

borg
i'm really enjoying the borg missions in the admiral levels.. them suckers are nasty XD
Haha, well one does ones best :P
I just did a commander level mission where you walk up to what you think is a captive - only for 6 hyrogen to spawn around you.
The problem is - you had to go and find 5 more 'captives' and each time the same thing happens.
It feels like they come up with 1 good idea and use it until its dead.
MoBs would just stand around in a secific area in collective groups waiting. Once you killed that group you would just follow the designated path to the next group and on and on until you cleard the instance.
Its very boring and linear.
Most of the time Im confused as to why they are actually there other than to give me something to fight.
Though its nice to see that Cryptic has added wandering MoBs in STO. However, the need to have the MoBs do more than just stand around or patrol a path.
They need to have them do different things. Something that makes them look like they have a purpose for being there. Other than just being an obsticle for us to overcome.
when you hit the first one i seem to remember my BOs telling me where the real hostages were (in a cave near the crash site)
Yea - thats the one but you STILL have to go to the other 4 'holograms' so you can reconfigure them to jam their transmissions.
