STO has a minigame of Mahjong?

Dear Cryptic:

I'm being real patient with things... and am going to continue to give you the benefit of the doubt... for now. But there are things I sincerely and wholeheartedly hope your development team is working out.

Today, what broke my back was the literal confusion/madness/frustration I have with the bank and dropping items in.

1) I have to literally drag items from my inventory to the bank. I can't double click and automatically drop them. Please fix that. (NOTE: this DOES however work with items like phasers, equipment, etc., but not mats.. if the terms "mats" even do apply)

2) Items don't automatically stack atop one another. This venture to increase my bank space turned into something that resembled Mahjong (hence the thread title.) Don't believe me? Here's a vid: http://www.wegame.com/watch/sto-mahjong/

3) The tiles are too similar and the variance between some are measured in HUE. Literally. I can't tell the orange triangle thingy from the red triangle thingy!!!

4) If people are going to be hoarding these materials, I honestly don't think a stack limit of 50 will suffice -- and I seriously do intend to continue stocking these until I feel the Memory Alpha + Crafting System has been adequately addressed by your development team.

Maybe I wouldn't be so upset with this right now... but c'mon! Player interface and interaction should be nailed down pat with stuff like this. I can tolerate the occasional glitch here and there, but you're just making the player go through painfully redundant and down-right pointless motions just to keep things organized.

1: Yes, it is inconvenient and somewhat irritating.
2: I have no clue what you're doing in that video, but for me items stack perfectly fine.
3: To be honest, your bank is a mess. Start by sorting the anomalie data items per tier in rows. As you probably won't be gathering the first tier data items (red colour, first row in your bank) anymore, or at least not at the same time as the last tier ones, there is no way to get confused, as the orange coloured ones are of the last tiers (botom row in your bank). Then, while you're still busy, also separate the comodoties to a different part of your bank space.
4: I think 50 per stack is fine, just order your bank apropriately and you should be fine for a long time.

get rid of all the provision stuff... its useless. You can get them any time from the free traders in sector space or on stations.

And sort your stuff, when you have a decent system its very easy to see where what stuff is.
