Yes, this seems to sum it up nicely.
WoW feels like an adventure (almost all the time), RoM does (I reached 20 / 20 today, was quite an interesting journey so far), Eve is a bit different (sandbox) - but still feels adventurous, especially in low sec between state borders (Egghelende, anyone?).
ST:O does not, which is saddening.
World is too small, there is no in game incentive for correct group play and the content is ridiculous.
@Cryptic
Please have a look - and I'm VERY serious about that - at what WoW offers for levels 40 - 50 (it's a real sweet spot of the game if you ask me).
Several highly interesting instances, colorful locations and it's also when grouping and doing stuff together with a good group becomes important - I'd go as far as to say that doing Zul'Farak for the first time was one of the defining moments in my "M ->M<- ORPG" - life.
Try to get a feeling what happens to the player in this game. And learn from it.
