That and not being able to encounter Klingons or other species in the universe.
There is not even much to do as a roleplayer... missions are way too straight forward and I get no choices on how to affect the mission's ending. If Klingons tell me that somebody on my ship is a shapeshifted infiltrator I can't take their word for it or do ANYTHING at all but to follow the "mission story" through to the ending. I am forced to kill the Klingons and then "find out" that it is in fact an infiltrator.
This game is just flat out boring when it comes to these aspects.
As a Star Trek fan I want open worlds where I can meet and interact with players of other factions (for now it's Klingons). Not overly instanced 20x20 areas. Game is incredibly repetetive in ALL aspects.
The only thing this game actually has that's a "role playing game" element is the actual character creation that's flexible and fun. As for the actual gameplay there's just nothing fun for a player like me.
I expected alot more.
I cancelled my sub but will not make any final decision until my free time expires.
Well to be fair you dont normally have 100's in one area in a lot of MMO's however I FULLY agree the 20 person limit on instanced zones is annoying and should be increased dramatically so you do get to meet other people more rapidly.
Actually, it's what HAS killed the game. Among many other problems.
Just wait to see how the server population plummets like a paralyzed falcon after the free month ends.
I would love to see a universe where I can just press a spot on the map to warp there, and if it's a planet ultimately beam down to it on a chosen location. On the planet there would be other players doing quests and killing "monsters" and so on. That's how I want this MMO to be like. Not this TRIBBLE!
