You could maybe sweat a little of the small stuff

It cannot be overemphasized how much the exchange needs search filters, even something so basic as sort by price would be a blessing.

It's kind of silly that it's a multipart process to sit in a chair... isn't it?

I've asked around and nobody does the relief aid missions, perhaps they could be removed until improved?

Could we maybe make the exchange of Bridge Officers a bit less like a slave trade?

These are just little things that I think would make a big difference in enjoyment.

There are filters for rarity and you can even search the exact name down to the mk of the item you want. Yeah the chairs are pretty bad, especially with a bug that causes you to float above them. I do the relief missions. Not saying the current Boff trading system cannot be improved, but do you have a suggestion for it?

I try to do the relief missions when I come across them. Sometimes.

As for the exchange, the was a post somewhere, a while ago from a Dev saying that there were improvements coming to the exchange in the near future so just got to wait for that.

Well... there's 1. Acknowledged, but hardly a majority vote.

OP, please explain the "slave trade" comment, without sounding like a crazed lunatic*.

*Any post saying something along the lines of "you're selling people" will make you sound like a crazed lunatic.

The buying and selling of sentient beings doesn't immediately stand out to you?

They aren't sentient beings. They're randomly generated sections of code on a server cluster somewhere in Boston.

That you seem to think otherwise is what makes you sound like a crazed lunatic.

maybe they could add an officer exchange but not for credits either a mutual exchange of officers or just an officer transfer, I now have about 7 officers sitting on my screen waiting for a vancancy but am keeping them for when i rank up!

Yep, I'm trolling, because you couldn't possibly be taking something and blowing so far out of proportion as to require Q-ian efforts to do so, right?

Another detail : the word "sell" used in the replicator. I'm not supposed to be selling but turning matter into energy. Even if energy is used as money in the game, it seems to me that another word ("recycle" ?) would be more appropriate.

It's not buying and selling, the energy credits you spend are a representation of that nice bottle of saurian brandy and the tickets to that baseball game or Holo-Opera to try and persuade a fellow Captain to approve the transfer of one of his officer's to your crew

Now if I could just work out how the exchange fits into that...

Top-flight response. I literally laughed out loud.

Convincing the officer overseeing the mothball of that galaxy classes phaser array to make sure it "falls of the truck."

But surely if you are a Star Trek fan you can see that relief missions are an integral part of what Starfleet is all about the aid an assistance of others.

I'd do them, if they weren't so damned annoying due to the way they're implemented.

It's what you get for letting Ferengi into Starfleet

Yes.. I see that. And I would do them... if I didnt have to run all the way back to Vulcan sector space (wotsname).. to find a freighter and get the 10 boxes of generators or whatevers.

Cant we just subspace a memo back to base?

it is annoying granted, but this is something that needs to be looked at by the Devs to rewrite how these missions are implemented, i do them purely because i get fed up of flying round shooting everything!

Or buy a generic "Starfleet Emergency Relief Replicator" that will happily allow your own replicator to produce what you'll need for a just a small amount above what it costs off a trader. Higher grade's of replicators allow you to replicate the higher level of relief supplies. Maybe even make them the higher ones only available through Memory Alpha crafting or the exchange off other players

And, if and when they get changed, I'll give them a whirl again. Until then, I avoid them like the plague, as I bought a lifetime sub to have fun, not be annoyed.

Even something like THIS would be acceptable, as compared to the current option.

    Agreed.

Or.. we could put the people out of their misery with some orbital bombardment practice. Either way: win!

I agree where do I get one, but then you have to have one of each item in your inventory to replicate it and mines full of furry little critters! and equipment I havn't sold yet

I like this idea. Also for some irony on selling Boffs I have a Ferengi sitting in my assignments tab that I am contemplating on trying to sell....

I have only ever had I think 2 of those relief missions in my entire play-time, and that was at low levels. Havn't seen a single one since. I did them at first, but if I saw another one I think i'd just abandon it, there's no incentive.
