I have been unable to log on to STO now for 5 days. I am getting all the generic messages, "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LOG ON TO THIS SERVER AT THIS TIME" or "TRYING TO UPDATE LAUNCHER, PLEASE BE PATIENT , LOG ON ATTEMPT 1 " Now the message says "ACCOUNT ERROR, CONTACT BILLING SUPPORT" I purchased a lifetime membership, WHY CAN'T I LOG ON, IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM ?
My digital pre-order key was activated but on an update a few days ago, it disappeared. Now it states this:

When I re-input the activation retail key, it prompts me back to the payment subscription page. It acknowledges I paid an annual fee but wants another credit card. What gives?

so that when the 1 year is up on your current subscription it can renew the subscription (if you have not cancelled) without interrupting your service.

What does it say in the "Products" section of the page? Specifically under the Subscriptions? It should look something like this:
