I fly a Galaxy atm and I am often the LAST person to the next fight if I am grouped. I am suppose to be the tank! I should be the first one going in! This happens because even once combat is over I am the slowest to turn towards the next waypoint. This doesn't even take into account stopping for loot or Anom Data. On many occasions I've had to choose to either miss the next part of a quest/fight or go back to get loot. I can never go get an Anom because the ammount of time needed to do the turns is to much.
Firstly you can't expect random people in a public group to wait for me, and you can't expect them to care that I want to actually BE THERE for the next fight without having to miss my loot. I actually SAVE Evasive Manuvers for AFTER the fight but its still not enough to cut the time down.
Secondly, while Fleet members should wait for their team they shouldn't have to wait that long and a tank shouldn't have to choose between getting to pick up his loot or making it to the next fight.
Improving T4/5 cruiser turn rates while out of combat will not have a significant effect on balance. I still think they should turn slower OOC then the other ships and if Cryptic thinks that balance is still an issue they can put the OOC timer for faster turn on a longer delay after a fight then the "full impulse" timer is on.
uh this is kinda important. during the wormhole missions I couldn't even turn enough to keep my ship from ramming the far wall of the wormhole - and I was going at 50% speed and even slowed more then that.
