Beaming issue

Im sure many of you will agree with me on this, but having to beam down on planets, space stations and our own bridges with our weapons drawn doesnt seem right. We should be able to hit H to use our weapons if needed and not hitting H to put it away after beaming down everytime. Im sure this would be a simple coding that could be done to correct this issue.

Yes, plus the away team needs to holster/unholster when I do.

    I agree.

And it would be nice if the weapon was slung across your back, or at your hip.

Agreed with OP. I've gone as far as to put my Bat'leth in my primary weapon slot, to get the desired cosmetic effect. Easy enough to swap over to the auto-targetting plasma rifle when things get real. =)

Sorry weapons are stored in mini transporter patern buffers.
Atleast thats how they did it in the older elite games hehe.

Completely agree. This is one more aspect where Cryptic has kind of missed the boat on giving the game a "Star Trek" feel. We should not be beaming into any location armed to the teeth and ready to grapple in hand-to-hand combat to the death.

Especially Earth Spacedock. We come in peace! Shoot to kill! Shoot to kill! Shoot to kill!
