Carrier ruined after not being so great to start with ?

Im pretty sure it had 7 weapon slots, now has 6 , I could live for ever, but cant do any damage, so whats the use of a carrier now ?

    the fighters and similar pet craft it carries? arn't they the main reason for the carrier?

    so lets say they are , you really think 2 bops, or 8 mini fighters gonna destroy anything ? wait even better, shield repairs ? or even the siphons ? get real man. The carrier is **** ,not even worth using, if not for the bug to make all them ships come out, Id bet money that carrier be dead. No one will use that carrier with just 2 fighters ,and 6 weapon slots, its probably the most worthless ship.

    I feel bad for all use science guys that get screwed, because there is no other ship that has the science slots to fit what we wanna do.

    Maybe it was changed in closed beta, but it's always had 6 weapon slots in OB and live.

    Ahh yes, the nigh unkillable carrier that has a damn swarm of shield repair drones, energy siphons, bops, etc around it at all times, so can pretty much keep an entire team alive without having to worry about taking any damage.

    Oh but boooo hooo you want to do wtfloldps aswell?

    Klingon carrier is weak.
    If you have a hard time with it then you don't know how to play, and thats speaking as a primary fed player with just a Lt.cmdr 2 klingon toon.

    The only hard part is really sorting out the main target from the swarm, and once done a cruiser can easy punch holes through the shields and stay on the carrier until it goes down.
    I have even taken down some single-handed with relative ease.

    Looking at Suircata's ship chart (don't think it's been updated since headstart) the Carrier shows 6 weapons slots.

    I've never known my ship to have more than 6 weapon slots in total.

    I thought was 7, oh well lol

    still the ships is TRIBBLE ,its a waste, once they fix the bug with calling all the ships, no one will use it, hell from what I been reading, no one may be around by that time lol. The pvp is TRIBBLE, everyone uses same skills, klingons have no players, Feds get 3 daily missions for badge of honors so I was told by a fed player, klingon gets 1 , that I know for sure.

    The game was at its peak in t2, after that its all down hill.

    Then don't use it. Use a BoP, and put 4 science BOs in there if you want.

    The carrier is not a WTFBBQPWNmobile. It's a support craft that can hold it's own as well. It's not supposed to do as much damage as an escort and tank as a cruiser (although it's defenses are massive). But put it in a team with other ships, and if you fly it well, the team is unstoppable.

    It has the same weapon loadout as the science vessel + fighters. So if anyone wants to complain about low DPS, I would say it's the science vessel....

    lol, dude it is not a defensive ship, all the skills will go right through it like butter. I used rsp, shields was 100 percent and died from hull, with shields at 100 percent and rsp running. I think the ppl that use it knows the truth, and the truth is it, ****. Im very disappointed in the ship and more disappointed in the use of the fighters we carry. They fly slow , respawn time is way to long for ships that blow up in 2-3 shots, and it should have more than 2 slots for fighters, should have 8 slots so u can spawn all the fighters since that is what it takes to be competitive.
