It has taken me until now to register my first post but I have read these forums through open beta and release and have come to appreciate the depth of feeling that most people (like myself) feel about this game. In fact if we didn't care so much would we really bother to respond to opinions that we felt were worthy or otherwise in this forum?

I totally respect the views of those who believe this game is worthy of continuing to spend their time and their money to invest in something they believe will meet their expectations in the future. However, it seems to me that there are also people in this community who have had expectations about this game that they feel have not been fulfilled and as such they have taken the opportunity to voice their concerns in this forums.

I do not see this as a negative but in fact believe that the purpose of a forum is as its definition purports ie

"1. place to express yourself: a medium in which the public may debate an issue or express opinions, e.g. a magazine or newspaper
2. meeting for discussion: a meeting to discuss matters of general interest
3. Internet discussion group: an Internet discussion group for participants with common interests"

All of us in this game must surely meet the last criteria else why would we be in these forums.

I also suspect that Cryptic , like most service providers, would value these forum responses as a "litmus test" of their client base to identify those areas where action needs to take place now and in the future...to do otherwise would be I believe a wasted opportunity.

I look forward to continuing to reading the responses in these forums regarding this game and hope that everyone continues to express their enjoyment or concerns or whatever about this game as they see fit as the result must surely be nothing but positive given the commitment of the contributors.
