Items Deleted By Bug - No Refund?

How many of you people have ran into this situation where you have your items legitimately deleted by a bug, and you get a response from CSR saying, "Sorry, no refund"?

In all my years of playing MMOs, this is the first company that doesn't reinburse items that's lost by a bug. Why is that? Anyone know?

Personally, given how much I paid for Lifetime Subscription and the Game itself, I feel like I was robbed. Cryptic should take responsiblity and give players their items back or some sort of compensation for the bug they had to endure.

Was this a unique item never attainable again? If not, get another one.

    That's not the point.

Even if a person moved on, Cryptic still should take responsibility in refunding the people that lost items due to bugs. Because they have to go out of their way to replace that item.

And people wonder why they take so long to reply to tickets about important things.

In all of my experience in MMOs I have never received a refund due to a bug.

Most recently was WAR where (as Order) the Gold Bag loot drops from keep takes (i.e. The best reward for getting the highest score from contribution + random roll) would drop bind on pickup armor for the opposite faction (Chaos) which was totally un-useable and could only be sold to the vendor for a couple coppers. This happened 3 times in a row over a couple nights. All tickets answered. No refunds or exchanges. Nothing.

Does it suck? Yes.. But it is common practice from my experience.
