(Not a troll)
(I do realize that by merely noting the observation that this is not a troll does put the suspicion of this actually being a troll on to start with but its not)
Shatner... commercials for WoW
cmon... you really think he wasnt informed this game was being made? Given the fact that he DID the WoW commercials shows he knows the power of these things.
Michael Dorn.... Doing ME2 voice overs
Frakes, Burton, an a few others are doing a convention in FL here in June I think...
mmmm bet that convention money is so much better than a slice of this pie right?
Heck, they got like everyone from TNG to do Family guy :p
NO Trek actor wants to touch this game with a 10 foot pole except Nimoy who has essentially *****d himself with the last movie.
It was a fun romp imo but there are HUGE holes that drive me sane all over that movie.

What the heck is up with that??

Instead of hiring the actors to do the VO they should have hired the writers from the shows to write the mission in the game. Then maybe they would make more sense and the Feds would not feel like blood drunk warmongers.

What really surprises me about Shatner is how damn good he is in Boston Legal.

He may be bitter about not being included in the reboot movie.

Edit: Who can blame anyone for wanting to be on Family Guy? :)

Hey, OP, if you have a point, could you please tell us what it is? I can't figure it out from what you wrote. Thanks in advance.

I went to work as a salesman for Kirby vacuum cleaners when I was younger. The training video was hosted by William Shatner. He was on a horse for most scenes.

Apparently, he worked for Kirby too once upon a time and did the video because they asked him too. He was older in it.

I was amazed. True story. I wonder if its on YouTube.........

    Just a thought here, but:

    1) Go here
    2) Talk to this person
    3) now go here and research these people
    4) Take a ride over here and speak with this race
    5) Now go to warp and explore this section of space to waste your time and mine.
    6) when your done hit Vulcan and party with a hot Vulcan women who will in turn ignore you (okay ignore this last one)....

Point is that would not be a fun game. I will admit there is not much on the EXPLORING side of STO, but if they went with ST 100% then instead of 90% battles (ground & space) and 10% exploration we would have 90% exploration and 10% battle time. And then we would have posts of people saying they are leaving cause STO is to boring.

But the game is BORING now! Lots of people are saying they are leaving the game because it is boring. So if it is going to be boring either way, I would at least think it should be accurate to the source material.
