I've been wondering, and I cannot find a reliable/definitive answer to this, and a forum search was less than helpful. I know these have come up before, but I hope the devs/mods will get a sticky on some of this, or add it to the FAQ since I have heard a lot of other players asking as well.
1) How many starships am I allowed to own at any given time? (Either list by rank, or the final total)
2) How many bridge officers can I have total? (Again by rank or grand total would be nice)
3) Can someone show me to or list the number of skill points we need to spend per tier to rank up?
2) How many bridge officers can I have total? (Again by rank or grand total would be nice)
I would also like an answer to this. It's crazy that it isn't listed somewhere along with other basic information. I know that it's ten at RA5, but what about before?

8 at Admiral.

10 at Admiral (that's 10 in your crew - I believe you will still be able to have additional bridge officer candidates, but to have one of them join your crew you'll have to dismiss one of the existing 10).

You don't have to spend skill points in specific tiers - you just need to spend a certain number of skill points in total. There's a table with the totals near the start of the Character Basics guide in my sig.
