You think STO will ever create a Nuetraul Faction. Group of people/aliens not tied to any goverment or leader. I think this would be a good idea. A Nuetraul Faction could open many things up (take on missions from any faction; simply for profit). To use any Ship (wander what a Bird of Pray would look like with Federation parts?
Traitor at heart....Perhaps the ability to betray the side your on (federation or other factions).
RANDOM Question
Probably been asked, but do they Plan on making a Borg Faction? I want to Assimlate People.
even a Klingon who goes privateer. he'll not necessarily be associated to the Empire, but by the same token he won't do anything to actually harm the Empire

Ever wonder why many writers say when Roddenberry created his races he did not make them indvudual. Because as a human we betray our own all the time. So if a Klingon finds it in his best intrest he would betray and even think about Harming the Empire...have you watched Star Trek...seen many episodes where Klingons have betrayed and sought to harm the empire.

If they ever do have a neutral faction, its not going to be what you want ... because it will be a faction all to its own without the bonuses of either the Klingons or the Federation.
For balance sake, that why there is no "neutral" faction at this time.
Hmmmm aneutral faction wouldn't necessarily betray his source faction....he just wouldn't necessarily support it either. A nuetral faction would have lighter faster ships but less armement and armor I think available. You'd probably have to restart most crew as a certain percentage of your BO's probably wouldn't come if you could "join" the faction.
And they wouldn't have access to the current ships. Neither Starfleet or the KDF would let someone run around in anything but thier smallest ships for long. For the Klingons it would be a stain on thier honor....you'd have shoot to kill order on you I think....Starfleet would try to "arrest" but you showing up in a Starfleet ship could ruin diplomatic intiatives. Nope gotta have seperate ships.

no more than when Francis Drake harmed England, way back when. oh...wait, he didn't. what he did benefitted England while, more or less, working for himeself. why can't some Klingons be similar?

Perhaps, but Nutraul means I follow no one except myself so it really could not be a faction in itself.
I was playing that bugged mission where you attack the Borg maintenace yard.
More to the point of this thread, there was a Reliant Class starship with what appeard to be a human player named captain that popped into the middle of the fight that was red as red could be and fired up all the Fed's. That was strange. I didn't think this was an option?
Simple read what you wrote; not rocket science to figure it out.
I never talked about the lack of content on the Klingon Empire faction at the present time. Read what I posted. It is, as you so cleverly put it, not rocket science.
My point is that Cryptic should not waste resources on new factions when the Klingon Empire faction is in the sorry state it is in at the moment. It should be their one and only priority when it comes to factions.

I understood what you said. And if you READ my reply you would have noticed: "Also this debate is based off way in the STO future, not anytime this year or the next so calm down Warrior."

kthxbye.
Why don't people instead learn that this is a new Online game so it will have bugs and not all parts will work up to par!!!

Faction-wise, the only thing that should be in the feature is some sweaty, hairy and loud Klingon Empire lovin'.
That is relevant to anything I just said, how?

feel free to check it out and comment!!!
It would be very cool, but I don't think they will ever do it.
Anything is possible, just not probable.
