I have subscribed the credit card payment method, I have tried to register the key code for the second time (but failed because the key is been already activated), but I'm receiving always the same result.
Why? I don't want lose other playing days.

    You need to put your retail key in, not the pre-order.

    I am receiving this error as well. I do not believe its related to my retail key as I have been playing since OB until today.

    Update: The 'glitch' seems to have resolved on its own, but was unable to log in for about half an hour.

    Yeah, I'm getting that error as well, and supposedly I'm on a lifetime press access key...

    ETA: And have been playing on that key since Closed Beta, and was able to log on yesterday just fine.

    Yea i am getting it too why did i buy this game for if i can't play the damn thing? I want my money back or few free months for this 8up peace of TRIBBLE.

    I am getting the message too, and I know I have applied my retail key from Amazon because a) it says retail on my account page and b) I have the Liberated Borg BOFF in my crew, and that only happens if you've put in your amazon.com key.

    So it's not because of my key. Is the account server borked, or is there a problem with a subset of keys (e.g. amazon.com people are getting locked out for whatever reason?)

    edit: Just to add further info, I do have a lifetime subscription. Haven't had a problem with logging in before today.

    re-edit: as the poster below says... THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS! Damn Cardassians musta been torturing the login servers (short version, I can select a character and get in now.)

    Recurring sub, same error message. I have the Amazon pre-order and the Atari DDE pre-order.

    PS Tried again, works now. Server is back to seeing four lights, I suppose.

    I'm getting the same error, my account is listed as active until March 3rd, and I entered the retail key on day one.

    I have the same issue and have been playing just fine since release. The only thing I've changed was the fact that I entered the "key" to unlock the Khan Starfleet uniform. I did that last night and was able to log in fine and play. I logged out and tried again today, got the error but was able to log in after a couple of tries. Once I logged in none of my hot keys worked. I could hit them and hear the audible ding like you would hear if your ability was still in cooldown but they were not. Also, I could easily click on them with my mouse and they worked from there but that makes for a really tough time in a dogfight. So from there I decided to relog thinking that perhaps it might have been some wonky login issue. Now all I get is this error.

    So, everything was fine for me until I used the Khan uniform code, assuming it might be related to something like that. Other things of note:

    I live on the west coast in Oregon, I'm wireless and running Windows7 on my Bootcamp drive of my MacBook Pro. As I said before, everything was fine and working as it should until today. Any thoughts on this are welcomed. Please post your situation so that perhaps maybe we can figure this out... ummm... logically? *giggles* But yeah, I'm honestly wondering if it's something related to the code...

    Do you guys have the same code or did you recently activate something like I did?

    If you don't see in "My Account" something that says:
    "Star Trek Online - Retail"

    Then your not going to be able to play. You need to enter your retail key. The "Beta Keys" are no longer active. So if you only have "Star Trek Online - Preorder" listed in your account, you need to enter your actual retail key into the account.

    Also, if you got a Lifetime Subscription - Congrats! However, you still have to purchase the retail game to use it. So if it says "Star Trek Online Lifetime Subscription" but does not have the above listing, you need to buy it and enter the retail code.

    Lifetime sub is not a substitute for buying the game. Retail key is how you prove you bought the game.

    Yeah getting the same error here too. Last I checked I had put the retail key from my Steam purchase on this account.

    Strange, when I check my Acct Page I do not see that I have the Khan uniform activated...

    This is incorrect, we extended the grace period for lifetimers as a courtesy due to late delivery on retail boxes, but you do need a retail copy.

    For some reason this has happened to me too. I've cancelled the subscription, cos i'm abit tight for money this month. But I still have free gametime left. Any reason I should be getting this message?

    get the same message 'not allowed on to server at this time' getting rather ridiculous I paid for the game from Atari and I paid for the lifetime membership only got part of the promised preorder bonuses . H ave activated my retail key and it was accepted. Would like to be able to play.

    You do not have a retail key on your account.

    Any idea why its happenign with me coderanger? I've entered a retail key and everything, just stop the subscription. But it says i should have play time till April 6th.

    My retail key was activated days ago. I have an active 3-month subscription at present, and currently confirmed on my account. That being the case, I am still unable to log on with this message showing: Not allowed to log into this server at this time.

    Please check and see what is wrong with your login server. Thank you.

    It would appear that the issue has somehow resolved itself. I am now able to log in just fine and all my hotkeys work again like they used to. I just wanted to let you guys know.
