Been out a couple weeks, now, right?
Anyone else care to join me in patiently waiting for Cryptic to work out bugs, implement new ideas/content, etc? I notice the servers have been much more stable for me.
Thanks, Cryptic, looking forward to an ever-improving Star Trek experience on-line!

nope, wont join you. some missing content and bugs are OK. but no real content to speak of is another thing.
besides, servers becoming more = less people playing
Well, it was 2-3 years before City of Heroes really came into its own as a developed game, in my opinion. I'm hoping that STO will develop faster than that, due to the prevalence of the genre and experience of the Cryptic staff. I'm just saying 2 weeks is short notice for a 100% satisfaction expectation in the MMO world.
I think you really have to look at the base systems that Cryptic will be building that content on though. If the base design is flawed, in someone's opinion, then the only course for retribution is to change the base design. This is highly unlikely. I think that most people can make a pretty good guess at the quality of the game based on the base design. The existing content, while currently limited, can always be added to. The design of the game, however, can not be so easily altered.
