So I started playing at 5pm and it's now 3.30am. I didn't eat, I didn't move from my computer and if I think the phrase "I'll just play one more mission..." again I'll go crazy.

Seriously, I can't walk away from it. It calls to me...

I'm just gonna log back in... just one more mission, then I'll sleep, I promise.

(honestly, well done on a great game. Not been this into something in a long time :D)

By 5am ytou will have seen 90% of the content and should be able to sleep just fine.

Yup, the single player experience was cool while it lasted.

You'll learn to ignore the whiners like this fine specimen here. They only want others to join them in their misery.

Actually, I've spent about half my time doing the random exploration missions in the clusters and I still like them. Even the worst random mission in STO is still lightyears beyond the standard WoW TRIBBLE of "Collect 5 unicorn butts for me" and that's not random content.

I'm Cpt 6 right now, so I've got the Borg content to look forwward to and I've not even tried playing as a klingon yet.

So I'll pass on joining your grumpy self thanks.

Yes now you get to scan 5 asteroids, repair 5 satellites, scan 5 plants and do this 5 times in 5 different systems for just one mission.

    Way better...

    Really innovating

Glad your having fun, but if you keep up that pace you'll be out of content in a week. Might want to pace yourself or your going to run out of things to do.

But at least I am never told to collect 5 asteroid bits by blowing up the asteroids, and then 327 asteroids later I have 2 bits. Only to be left wondering "Why don't these asteroids have any asteriod in them?" Where as in wow, to use the OPs example I am commonly left wondering, why are there so many buttless unicorns in the world?

QFT! Plus if you scan plants or asteroids it's for science and to increase the federation's understanding of the universe. In Wow the unicorn butts will end up in a pie to be eaten by an npc... it's all a matter of scale.

Just keep scanning and your sig is very fitting and explains the rest.

I can get my head around a satelittes in space during a war being damaged. I'll never understand why killing wolves to collect "Wolf tails" a dead wolf won't drop a tail but will drop a rusty sword or pair of boots...?
