I agree somewhat but I also feel well thought out criticism written with etiquette are fine such as Cynics recent post. I would also encourage people to post in the sticky thread for short, mid, long term improvements as I did. That being said, the rage and rant posts without any logic behind them are indeed a problem.

Seconded.
I can honestly say I don't care about the opinions of people who don't give the game a chance because a week and a half after launch it's not up to the standard of today's WoW. No, it's not perfect, but you can dislike the game without all the flaming.

If you love the game so much why are you trolling the forums and not playing it?
Hey there guess what. They will all be gone once their 30 days runs out since they won't be paying for another month of a rushed-to-market game. So you will have plenty of free space then to tell us about how you have a "job" and don't live in your "mommies" basement.
Till then we get to keep playing the forum troll game so please enjoy it with us. ktxbai!
STO was worked on by Perpetual Emtertainment from 2004-2008, did you know that?
When Cryptic bought the IP from BK'ing P2, they got everything that P2 had created in four years of work on the title, did you know that?
Cryptic actively worked on STO for another two years. Making the total development time of SIX years between two developers, did you know that?
I'm not sure why people keep saying that the game was 'rushed', most games are developed in a shorter cycle than two years. If you have a problem with the game, outline your concerns in a coherent and deliberate fashion and leave quips and soundbites to politicians.
Well, if you have interesting, useful, insightful, or just amusing comments to make before you leave, please do so. However, if you just want to be angry or find people to give you sympathy, then move on down the road.

Hey dude. I loved Reboot. Watched it religiously, moving on...... The game is Champions Online with a star trek skin stretched over it. Perpetual never actually made any code for the game only mock up screen shots, and even then it still looked better then this pile.
ANOTHER thread about telling people not to post they are quiting and stating you "don't care"
Obviously you DO care or you would not have taken the time to post that you don't care. And since you are tried of seeing those threads then you must have taken the time to read those threads, another reason to think you actually do care about people quitting.
You have a choice to click or not to click, its like people who complain about southpark, either click on the channel or don't but either way its your choice, pick something else to spend your time on.
If a bad game like SWG can still hold on after all this time, then STO will most likely still be here in the years to come, so the game you think is so good will still be here for you to play and you shouldn't waste your time telling other people not to post.
