How much of this are we seeing on a daily basis? Itd be nice if they started going by their own guidelines you know? But apparently noone reads the two addresses built into the top of every single forum here, as usually when I point this out I get a "oh I didnt know" answer.
Couple of good reads:

There's a lot, yes, but with good reason. We've ensured the Administrator that nothing will go wrong. Now, Gordon. We will hold the anti-mass spectrometer at 85% where we will then wait until the sample arrives.

If they actually upheld the rules here then other forums would be awash with people complaining about the 'draconian' mods who shut down any and all 'criticism' of the game, and how Cryptic does nothing but 'censor' 'Freedom of Speech'.

I guess they're trying to be nice to the community by not being as harsh as they probably should. Lords know if I was a mod I'd be cracking down left and right on any and all but the mildest of rules violations. I try to be a nice guy, but if I have a job to do I do it, no matter how crappy it is. And it doesn't really matter in the end. No matter how nice you are to people who break the rules, they STILL call you all sorts of names and go on to tell their buddies about what an a-hole you were. Think about that the next time one of your friends complains loudly and bitterly about being pulled over for speeding and getting just a warning. The cop was nice, gave him a warning, but nonetheless he thinks the COP is the bad guy for catching him doing something wrong. You can't win for losing. Which is why I stopped even trying.
