Cryptic, I am having a hard time playing this game with every disconnects on a minute or two. There are times I get so many disconnects, it makes me just want to forget about this game. I have made several post and complaints about this and haven't got a single response yet. Maybe establishing a server on the northeastern US would help me and many others in this region. NYC would be the ideal place for server because we have a NOC that connects directly overseas. Or you could try FL because their NOC transmit to south america and then overseas to UK. These are my thoughts on improving my experience and others too.
I don't think that's a problem Cryptic can fix since it's completely on your end. It's not a problem with their servers or the software, so I'm not sure what you want them to do about it. It sounds like something you need to figure out and fix yourself.

i played starcraft broodwar, left4dead, and team fortress 2 and had not been disconnected so many times within an hour period. i rarely get disconnects from those games - most likely once every 6 months. i confirmed that other fleet members in the NE region is getting frequent disconnects too. therefore, i am not alone in the frequent disconnects.
i love the star trek game and given a lot of attention to STO. i am hoping that STO would fix the frequent disconnects, or at least track those issues and fix it. i am hoping that i would not have to resort to a financial dispute with cryptic. cryptic has been good so far, except for their customer service. i guess that's why they called themselves "cryptic". meaning it is a secret, no one would understand them, and a closed door operation. this is not what i would like to see.
comment - some of those features on STO are similar to Hellgate London. i am wondering if some of those developers are from hellgate london. i have my grudge on flagship studios for abandoning our game.

Hellgate London was, at least, capable of being played offline. The worst part of STO is that its a single-player game that just happens to be MMO. They should never have made it an MMO-ONLY...it should be a single-player game that can be played online.
