This game plays almost like an RPG which is fine by me

An RPG with unlimited updates and an exchange to buy and sell. I've never been found of grouping, or guilds in other games. I am not anti-social, it's just that a lot of the hard core (I was there on the 1st day it went live) players need there egos buffed up from time to time. They walk around with ohh look at what I got, and they love to be team leaders so they can boss others players around. Not my cup of tea jack. Plus, there is the usual assortment of rip off artists who love to sell stuff at rip off prices. That's why I wish the exchange would have a tab to view prices on an item from highest to lowest.

I hate vent too, because 9 times out of 10 the players dominating the discussion are talking about their personal life. Anyone for Star Wars Galaxies? My view of that game is that the devs didn't run players off, but the obnoxious players did. With cries of nerf this and that. Plus there was a deep seated hatred of jedi, spies, and commandos by the rest of the community. So much so, that these 3 profs seldom got invited to instance groups. I think it was punishment for being ganked so much in pvp by them.

Since STO plays a lot like an RPG, why not offer the player options in the dialogue that would have different outcomes based on the choices made.
