Skill points cap

Ok, i dont mind being RA5 for almost 1 week now, I dont mind about level cap, but at least allow us to get and spend skill points to improve all fly capability! There is antiproton weapons, tetryon weapons, and many more skill I would like to improve!!! Why cant you allow us to get more skill points, even with level cap? That is the minimum to keep RA players playing...

Oh, they put on a very nice [Antiproton Beam Array Mk X] weapon.... Too bad I already spent my skill points in phaser weapons, and cant respec it...

    ! bump

i agree. should let us level to rear admiral 11 or better. this feels like beta all over again with the skill cap. great MMOs do not have skill caps.

My thought is that the skill cap will probably go away once they let us get to 50. According to several dev posts, the concern they had was people insta-leveling (due to saved skill points)

Well, they could just let you get "spendable" skillpoints rather then SP for leveling...

Besides, being RA5 means you got a lot of finished-yet-not-turned-in missions in your list anyways which, in my book, still counts as "insta-leveling".

Just my 2 cents on the subject.

I hear you. In an ideal world, they would have launched with the level cap at 50, no skill cap and all the content coming over the next month or two in the game already.

Sadly, that's not the world we're in :D
