I am playing Klingon (well Orion) and have my Bat thingy out and am playing ginsu with Federation people, while I am slicing and dicing they are doing complicated activities then stand up and hit me which stuns me.
Apparently the Devs are not familiar with the concept of pain or avoidance. Here is a test I would like the devs to do...
Get 15 soda cans and give them to one dev, then a different dev get a NERF bat; now... while the first devs tries to stack the cans into a pyramid (5 cans bottom, then 4 cans, then 3 cans, then 2 cans and finally 1 can on top) the other dev beats him with NERF bat. It will demonstrate the when being hit you cannot do something complicated like creating turrets or shields and stuff.
To be more realistic, have the 2nd dev use a real bat but that would be painful...

Please, when I am using my Bat thingy please let me actually influence my enemies action, I cannot see how I am swinging a big blade and a person blocks with his hand (which should be no the ground now separated from his body) and punches me. I have hit him 3-5 times with little effect then one punch and I stand like dazed for a few seconds....

Please make my Bat thingy worth using...:o

I would like to see a greater, but not excessive, chance to interrupt or otherwise delay the opposition.
Edit: How do you block?
Much as I'd hate it, I have to agree that I'd expect a melee attack to interrupt something that's interruptable.
Perhaps the "interruptable" period is not the whole animation?
