There have been a lot of things in this game that have gone wrong and continue to go wrong. Repetitive missions, lack of respect for the Star Trek philosophy (as in kill everything that moves), servers down, and servers down, and servers down, and lack of content, and disconnected from server, and on and on .
But the worst of it isnt whats going on in the game. The worst of it is the absolute absence of ANY kind of communication from Cryptic. No apologies, no reasons given for problems, no explanation of issues, and worst of ALL, no report on what is being done to make things right for their paying customers.
That kind of communication would go a LONG way towards making the folks who hand over good money to be here feel like theyre being heard, and listened to, and respected.
Well said. A PR session by Cryptic with some meat on it for us hanging in the wind would go far. As it stands, canceled my lifetime, going to give it 6 months. After that, outlook is very cloudy for me.

Do you even bother to check the dev tracker ?
Upcoming content has been already been show(check the dev tracker).
Server issues have been explained(Check the dev tracker).
It's not Cryptic's fault that you can't click a link on a website
Maybe you want some sort of hand written letter? Or a phone call?
Nope, just another chat with J. Emmert, Zinc or even better Gozer : I have a lot of questions I'd like to ask. They did that before and it was quite useful :
Dramatic? its a flat out lie, as there IS communication. L2devtracker.
EXACTLY......
The biggest problem on the forums is that hardly any of the people complaining about stuff don't ever bother to search for a resolution. They just expect all the answers to their problems to be on the front page of the web site.

Yeah! They DO!
And given the kind of problems and horrendous reviews this game has had... is that really all that unreasonable???
that's what a web site is FOR. To communicate with your user base.
Just because the devs don't respond to your thread full of flames and troll bait doesn't mean they're not communicating. Stahl alone is replying at a good clip.
The louder you flame, the less likely the devs are to take you seriously.
I get it.. you expect cryptic to be like blizzard and hire a cadre of PR personel to be condescending or outright insulting to you or your intelligence?
