im a trekkie but sometime i just cant stand the Utopian federation.

the character i made is a ruthless type of captain who get the job done.

he view the war with the klingon as a blessing.

does you think it can fit into the lore?

im suprised at the lack of any corrupted star fleet offcial.

yea there is a faction in the star trek universe called section 31 and they are in the game as well. They were mostly unheard of and a lot of people (in the game anyway) still aren't sure if they exist or even know of the name. Basically they are a ends justify the means sort of group of people who could be in any position in starfleet or any other part of the universe. They only care about the protection of the federation and do all the dirty work, a sort of future version of Jack Bauer.

We see many ruthless Federation members in ST: The Undiscovered Country. :)

As far as what fits in the lore, for the most part I think anything can fit into the lore, especially with all the races involved. Remember, the eutopian Star Trek society is built upon the bedrock of a Eugenics War, World War III, a 1-year Klingon War, and a 4-year Romulan War.

My Starfleet Officer became an experienced Maquis solder who joined the group thinking it was to fight for the cause, but really it was just to kill Cardassians, until his ship hit a spacial anomaly in the Badlands and he ended up 30 years into the future. With no Maquis left, only thing left to do was Join Starfleet.

See. you can make anything fit. Even a square peg in a round hole, if you force it hard enough hehe.
