I bet the skill menu doesnt even work right now. I know adding skills to your BO's decrease the recharge timer.. but think about this...
tractor beam 1 will never miss... it probably holds for the exact same amount of time that tractor beam 2 holds for... it probably doesn't differ at all. I bet the skill you put in tractor beams.. or science consoles that affect it do not even work right now.

And the reason for this... it would be a massively complex coding system of resist mathematics and hit percentages that I really dont think cryptic has the capacity to create....
I like the "examples". Theres always at least two which doesn't exactly narrow it down at all. Why must we guess when spending points? I'd really like to know what exactly I'm spending my skill points on.

Exactly. I've been asking for more details about the skills and what abilities they work with since beta. Most of the time, people will tell you to read the tool tips or if they're feeling particularly sadistic, they'll point you to that silly HTML manual on the website.
Yea, the way the skills system works(or doesnt work ) Is a real red flag for the direction of the game IMO.
