Ya, it's a terrible way for new players to be introduced to that. All the fleet actions I have done seem to have a +20 level in them. I don't understand why they would' not have it bracketed like pvp.

They are really kedoodling the new player experience with all this level -jacking BS... I keep my admiral out of that stuff, because I'm a jerk....but I'm not a putz... Sadly the same cannot be said of many...

They will just keep saying they are there to "help a friend" while they empty / fill / empty their inventories non-stop as they have been...

If Cryptic insists on keeping high-level players in n00bie content (which makes me question their judgment) they need to remove them from damage scores, prize winnings, SP gain, and all looting...

    Better yet...just don't let them in in-the-first-place....

    Starting today ....would be awesome....

Well there's not much to do so we take the advice of others and roll alts, it's just nice to have alts in all blues and it can take a while to find what you want so, I got what I cared to out of SB24 for 2chars back in headstart while still in a miranda/nova tho, the other FAs however.....

    Haha.

Not much to do currently at cap. Once my daily and explo is done (45 minutes or so), I'm generally just farming or wandering around doing whatever. Sometime fleet actions.

EDIT: low lvl escorts still beat me to top spot as I'm science. **fire wet noodle at them Mr. Worf!**

I've done it to test weapons but I also give the top prize to the highest T1 player, so that makes me feel better.

My main is now Lt. C. 1 and I tried the "slow the Gorn advance" twice : no admirals there. Anyone knows why ?

Yup, I know, unfortunately my last alt just hit Lt. C. so I won't benefit of it :D
Bah, at least the new lowbies will have it : they have crappy ships, crappy patrols and can't even have fun at SB24

I think we should have admiral v noob pvp. Maybe 2 v 10 or so. That would give admirals something to do, and they can coach noobs in the process.

I only go to SB24 for one reason, to test out a new ship. For example, I've just recenty hit Captain, so the first thing I did after setting up my abilities and new weapons was to take my new Defiant-class to SB24 to see how it performs. Then I leave.

Actually I went there in a runabout...yep, a runabout. Was not trying to top the charts, in fact, I didn't. Though I did consider it a lot of fun. Only two weapons, low shields and hull but serious turn rate.

Though I did find out about a rather annoying bug that still has not been fixed. All my ship gear..all of it in or out of a ship read now based on a runabout stats. So I have zero clue as to what my gear currently does as the stats are all borked.

So yeah, I did SB24 in a runabout and paid a heavy price for it. (but I never went boom..hehe)

Haven't done fleet actions recently, but I'm guessing SB24 is the only one actually working at this point :o

You don't exactly get any decent loot in Starbase 24 in my experience so not being on the high score list doesn't mean you miss out on much. You will get better equipment later on - Some might go to Starbase 24 because its one of few fleet actions in the game and some may use it for Rp's or Fleet events.
