At the end of voyager they outfitted the ship to be unkillable and able to destroy cubes with a single torpedo, lets get janeway to just kill everything in sight I say and we can all just sit back and sip on earl grey tea!

I prefer green tea. Earl grey tea is too strong tasting. Other than that, fire away.

All she needs to do is set up a probe to play back a recording of her voice, then launch it into the ships hull... The crew will then kill themselves and set up the self-destruct sequence. Easy enough.

And that's why she kicks TRIBBLE, because she doesn't drink tea, she drinks coffee... BLACK! Seriously hardcore. Don't mess with a woman who likes her coffee black. But you can mess with tea drinkers all you want, they're too afraid to get their hands dirty.

Actually, I found her voice rather demure. Ok, so it's a smoker's voice and I'm not fond of smokers, but still demure. Mind you, I wouldn't really want to hear her sing, but Kate Mulgrew looked, sounded, and played the part well.

Are you sure she might end up getting lost again and then tea time turns into wtf where she go time.

If I remember correctly didn't the future Janeway make the past Janeway promise to not share the technology or something like that? Although it could be that the trip through the conduit caused too much damage to the tech. Or maybe I'm just making up excuses because I'm bored :p lol

no i dont buy it, the ship survived and i dont think the armour and weapons just suddenly fell apart while the rest of the ship survived. And I dont buy that the federation wouldnt use these weapons just cause of future janeway

Well we're dealing with Borg vessels with shields now so obviously their technology has advanced too.

That's all I can think of. hehe

Maybe the Temporal Prime Directive? Even if Voyager having this stuff might be a violation, this doesn't allow further violations...

Just a side note. The tech used on Voyager at the end of the series comes from the year 2404 (just checked memory alpha), and we are playing 5 years after that.

Well really everyone has adapted. We are playing 31 years after Voyager's return home. Just think how much technology has progressed in the passed 31 years of reality, now take that some amount of change and put it into the ST universe. Of course Trani torps aren't going to have the same effect.

I was thinking that, however I don't think Starfleet of Voyager's time had the Temporal Prime Directive yet, I may be wrong though.

Janeway totally wasted her defensive armor advantage againstthe Borg by sitting there like an idiot while the cubes fired on her without effect, scanned them, analyzed the data, and waited until structural integrity had almost completely failed to fire torpedoes. Worst tactical decision I can think of from that series, I actually respected her as a captain up until that moment.

Also tazo chai > Earl grey.

speaking of the Temporal Prime Directive , how come Nero was able to do whatever he wanted without some cool future FED ships coming there and Kicking his A$$ , I loved the movie but that bugs me ever time I watch it .

Because no one knew he went back in time. It is assumed Nero and Ambassador Spock have died in the anomaly.

I would imagine that's why there was no future interference in that episode where voyager travelled back in time to earth. The enterprise did it better tho IMO... Whales FTW.

If you remember, at the start, Voyager took a pounding, and gave back a lot more than what they took, as it was brand new technology. Second time round, they cut through it, as they adapted.

We can have that Armor on our ship via a console, and we can also get the torpedo's.

We're fighting mostly because it's a PC Game and One Hitting every Borg Cube would be very boring ....

The difficulty is not much harder than you you described. The only difference is that it takes hitting the space bar 10 times to take down a borg cube.
