Sheesh, you'd think that the queue issue would have been sorted by now... but nooo, I'm stuck in a 230 person queue ._.

One just hit me a few mins ago. Seems the 'additional servers' are doing their jobs without fail.

I also never see a queue. I saw one on the day they were implemented but not since. I've heard stories of queues when if I logged in at the same time I have none. Maybe it's by location. :)

Sure doesn't seem like it. In fact, I'm seeing more "Where's Sulu" people as each day goes by.

Queues only seem to very intermittently come up - not in any way as you'd think it was due to load, either. Adding to the fact they seem to be most common on Sundays, I'd assume that on Sundays, Cryptic are normally working on the servers adding capacity - however, to do so, some services would clearly have to be diminished while they were upgraded.

Maybe the best advice is, for now, avoid playing on Sundays as much as possible. :p It really kinda says a lot about Star Trek fans though that on Valentine's day, they're all just rushing to play STO. :p

Personally, DoctorOak, I just see Valentine's Day as another way for shops to squeeze money out of suckers. that's what all holidays/events are these days. :(

Hey, whats even more fun then queuing is GETTING to the front of the Q to then have a "disconnected from Server" message.

    Yay. Deep joy.

Did anyone else have issues about 20 mins ago? i was tinkering with my crews gear but it wouldnt allow me to transfer items from inventory!!! well it did for a while, but they would be in inventry and crew screen at same time and/or take 30 seconds to transfer across when dragged...

which is a bit of a drag (waa haa hee)

Then make them work for you and focus on what you get out of it. :p I'm by no means Christian, but I could happily spend every day from 1st of January to 24th December anticipating Christmas for the presents, the food, the experience; regardless of the fact that shops would rather happily play into that anticipation and try and sell me Christmas stuff that early if they could get away with it. (So they just wait until September instead!).

At the very least, I'd hope some people are planning on playing with their significant others to soften the blow. :p

This waiting in line business sucks big time considering we paid already, just goes to show where cryptics loyalties lie, to their own pocket no doubt.

Ok, this queue garbage has got to go! I pay money for what?! Cryptic, you really need to get this fixed, expand like you've said you would. More servers, whatever. Star Trek has one of the largest fan bases in the world, and you were unaware and unprepared. Expand so everyone can play, get more servers or whatever it is that you need. I pay money to play when I'm able to, not to sit in a queue and hope to get on before I have to go for real life stuff.

I have never seen a queue. It's a lie! One big lie! There is no such thing as queues!(how do you write that?)
Queues are mythical creatures that don't exist! You are mean people for making me cry!:(

I'm losing my patience with this game.
Cryptic, look behind you. Yeah, see that on the floor?
    That's the ball.

The queue you see is for the shard you are trying to connect to. Exit the queue, reconnect a few times and youw ill skip it as the server will create new instances or throw you on a different shard.

It put me in a smaller queue now, but I'm not moving up the queue at all... as usual.
