WARN us next time cryptic

Hmm, i find this odd that the server "crashes" when there is almost no lag, no issues.... the server just "crashes?" that doesnt happen like that. Now during Prime Time with Tons of lag i can see it crashing. this can NOT have been a Crash, Cryptic you DECIDED to take it down.... give us a dang WARNING next time. there is nothing i hate more then spending 90+ mins in a mission, only to have the server "crash" 20 seconds from the end.

"oh it will just pick up where you left off" NOPE. Every time the server "crashes" and im in the middle of the mission, said mission becomes bugged, and will never mark itself as completed even if i finish it 100 times. i have to drop it and do it ALL over again. This is really becoming irritating.

Oh its easy to predict when the server will go down.

Its right about the time when the US gets up and the EU evening is...

Eg - right about now - 7-8GMT every weekend...

When they bring it down at a scheduled time, they do warn us, so why would they decide to bring it down at an unscheduled time without warning? Perhaps you are just coming to the wrong conclusion, that's what I'm thinking. Just because your experience didn't have any lag doesn't mean there couldn't be a server issue that would still cause a crash.

Actually its around 3pm est or noon pst.. I feel Cryptic loves to play with too many buttons and need to leave them alone.
And yes I agree about missions, every mission i have done with a "crash" occurs I end up redoing it. So the thing about mission starting from where you left off in this case is a lie..........

Yes, I'm sure they bring down the servers without warning on purpose because they like alienating their customers and losing money.

Well when the server glitches or something happens to where it drops... its hard to warn you. They are more than accomodating when they are planning to bring down the servers by making announcements both on the forums as well as in-game, but unless you can do a better job at keeping the servers up (which i garuntee none of you can), then please do us all a favor and shut up.

All of my Boffs have been at max skills because of this "Do mission, almost fini--CRASH--" server comes back, Do mission again, and complete it... oh, it never marked as completed. Great. Drop mission, start over again.... 2 mins from the end of the mis--CRASH--. Here we go again.

i had 1 mission (with romulans i think) that i did EIGHT times because of different crashes. Thats alot of Boff XP built up by running ground missions over and over and over and over and over. . .

    you get the idea

The server is a piece of **** that croaks under the stress caused by an increased playerbase during the weekends.

    End. of. story.

Son: I got hit by a car ...
Mother: What? How did this happen? Next time tell me before something like this happens!

UNEXPECTED Downtime. If they expected it, they would warn us.

And please don't pretend to know the inner workings of Cryptic and their systems.

I know the inner workings of Cryptic and their systems. Unfortunately they found out and murdered me before I could tell anyone. True story.

Expected or Unexpected, that's the 3rd time they've been down today since 11am GMT (it's now 20:00 GMT)... that's pretty poor going to be fair...
