C-store expansion??

Hey, I'm just wondering if theres plans anytime soon to add some cool stuff to the Cstore.

I dont mind actually paying for stuff ifs its worth getting, and I'm abit disappointed that I can only aquire character types at the moment.

Any chance of adding the pre-order stuff ( like the shuttles, the uniforms etc ) or at the very least adding something new and original in.

Also, any plans to add any further ship variants?
Was kinda hoping i could keep the 'parts' from earlier types and use them with newer components to open up more creativity.

Necelles/Saucers at the very least should be fully selectable from ship to ship as they 'mostly' all have warp necelles/Saucers ( I think the Defiant/Vigilant classes are only ones that dont )

Just a thought, but I would like to see some stuff to buy in the C store please :)

I usually wouldnt buy anything but an Orion Vixen I could deal with!

Please stop encouraging them to use the C-Store ... just ask for stuff ... you might actually just get it for free instead of asking them to let you pay for it.

Something with stats or skills that boosts gameplay, I'd pay for. Costume pieces should be free and ships and pets should be attainable through ingame economy, either through rare drops, badges, merits or energy credits.

The first one should definitely be free.

tbh, as long as its actually cool and reasonably priced, I dont mind the C store.

It gives it a element of Rarity too because alot of people wont buy it.

I dont want something that isnt just a gimmick tho, like the Taco Shuttle.
Completely rubbish, just follows u, disappears in combat ( was hoping it would act like a fighter )

I'd have exactly the opposite attitude. Stuff that we're actually paying real-world cash for above and beyond our subscription should be completely optional. Hence, fluff like costumes and pets make sense to me as microtransactions. Things that improve things like stats or skills, not-so-much.

Well, I'm generally strongly against selling anything for RL cash that actually makes a difference in the game. I mean, if you're going to buy rare officers from the C-Store, what's the fundamental difference between that and just buying gold and getting some rare officers from the Exchange?

Cosmetic options, on the other hand, sure, bring them on. But they better look great :p

heh this is atari after all, you can ask for freebies all you want, but its not going to happin when it comes to adding in small stuff that can turn a profit.
it's like the saying "wish in one hand, S%*t in the other and see which one fill'sup first"

i don't mind paying a couple of bucks to get small little things.

    look at champions online c-store.

i would just like half of the options they have there, here in STO

give me some extra charater slots to buy, some more uniforms, pets, different ship type like the per order connie, maybe some differnt fleet logo's to tac of your ship instead of the starfleet logo.

hehe something then just the 2 extra playable races :)

If they put up an option for STO to be sold to a proper software house ran by passionate gamers and not greedy tw*ts I would pay for that in the C-Store, no problem.

I'd much rather see stable servers first, microtransactions later.
