Am I the only one today?

I talked to some of my buddies in the game, and they DON'T seem to be having any problems today...but I've been getting disconects every few minutes, and lots of rubberbanding, and now even the launcher is giving me trouble...I'm scanning for malware (even though I haven't done anything in weeks that should even remotely expose my system to a virus risk...and I scanned it just yesterday)

but am I really the only person having this problem?

Did someone at Cryptic finally decide that, rather than answer my easy to answer question about bridge officer waypoint keybinds and slash commands, it would be fun to put some sort of weird lag/lock on just my account? (Curious that, just as I posted yet another RFI post on the topic, the game would suddenly start giving JUST ME connection issues...

The latest fun error is an Explorer script error when trying to start the program up that reads:

"An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 62
Char: 2
Error: 'switchicon' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://launcher.startrekonline.com/launcher_news

do you want to continue running scripts on this page? (Y/N)

Yes, Cryptic diabolically decided that because you exposed their secret plan to keep bridge officer waypoint keybinds and slash commands broken, they would cause you and you alone to have gameplay problems. That's way more likely than some connection issues on your end.

(Homer Simpson voice) In case you can't tell, I was being sarcastic!

i've had some "server not responding" flashes while zoning today, nothing major and no disconnects, but not quite as smooth as i normally have.

could it be that *gasp* server capacity has been increased?

drop a note in the technical forums, suspect you'll get more help and response that'll help work out why you're having this issue there :)

Well it sounds to me like you might just have picked up a gremlin. Yeah. I agree with Shingi here. Drop a note in technical... and I would run a virus/malware scan if I were you.

I think I said I was doing that already, in the original post?

OP - Have you tried running the verify option on the launcher to see if maybe you have some corrupted game files? Sure seems that way to me from the error you posted.
