GM_IndigoFyre and Minotaurs

So IndigoFyre is pushing for Minotaur customization in STO, something the previous Cryptic games have had.
Unfortunately Kestrel insists that it is not "trek." Pfff

You want the Trek justification?

Centaurs are covered:

http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Fek'lhr

Klingon Demons have centaur legs.

http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Lucien

Megans have centaur legs.

Thus cloven hooved aliens are viable within Trek

Beyond that, Apollo and presumably all of Greek mythology stems from aliens from Pollux IV according to TOS: "Who Mourns for Adonais?" This would seem to suggest Minotaurs are real in the Star Trek world.

On a Trek related note: Michael "Worf" Dorn voiced not only the Minotaur in Disney's Hercules but also the majority of Tauren in World of Warcraft.

Yeah I think they have a ton of things to fix both vital and cosmetic before considering something as rock stupid as this.

    So no.

actually, they way I remember those characters, they were specific special beings not a race/species and also I believe both turned out to be illusions

Vulcans are really elves who tranported themselves through space/time to a new planet, in order to escape sauron.

They escaped in Saruman's personal Borg Sphere with the help of Conan of Cimmeria, avoided the Star Destroyer patrol in orbit and managed to get to Vulcan in time for tea.

This sounds like something CBS would reply to with a resounding, NO.
