I doubt it was a scheduled maintainance, likely the servers crashed due to the extremely high traffic and now they are rushing to get them working again.

    Cryptic,
Please ignore all the posts whining/begging/pleading/crying/bargaining or cajoling you to try anything to fix the server stability.
This one guy said not to.
    Thx.

There was a scheduled maintenance between 11-1 then they crashed.

It crashed right after their "scheduled maintenance". Makes you wonder if anything would have happened if they had waited till Monday to do the maintenance.
It is still a bad idea to do this kind of thing on a weekend. For some folks it is also a holiday weekend.

It's always going to be somebodys "prime time/day off/holiday weekend' etc. Sadly, most of the games I have played pick one block of time and stick with it...so if tuesdays nights at 2am are your perfect playing time, you might not get to see the magical land of candy mountain with the rest of your guild.

I'd just assume have them not follow up "scheduled downtime" with "unscheduled downtime" immediately after.

What time do you play at cause I need to play then. I havent been able to find more than two people in an instance lately. The sad thing was their were 13 instances each with 1 - 2 people in them. Oh well.

Don't you guys read? It says the server was brought down due to schedualed mait. that is what I was talking about.

Of course now it's down, not due to mait. but whatever..

Just don't do the mait. on a weekend, duh.
