Ye know it comes to mind that all the darn downtimes have been during perfectly acceptable UK playtimes, how about you take the server down during non-uk playtimes for once, it's a worldwide server so you should provide equal worldwide service, not worldwide service cept durin downtime we're gonna TRIBBLE everyone in europe with downtimes during your prime playing hours.

You know share it out, one week one regions prime time the other another, with a worldwide service ya shouldnt give one region less playable hours for the average player (i.e. folks not awake and playing at said early times) then the other.

Cant you post in one of the other threads about this issue why do we need another thread about a mute issue ???

Thay have already stated they are doing this at the time it affects the least players and im happy with that i mean it is only 2 hours.

because frankly other people are stupid and their thread's seem to have no point to it, mine suggest a solution theres is just a whine, and it's only a mute issue if your stupid it's a valid concern.

Yep, like we need another thread about this.........

They take it down during the lowest server loading times, which is the fairest way to do it.

    That is all.

bull they take it down because the US customers are given priority given the servers are located in the US, but given it's a worldwide service they should have more equal downtimes, they just announced in the UK sto was no1 selling, so i doubt its lowest during our hours.

there isnt a sulution im sorry servers are taken down when it effects the least players. Lets be honest EVE online is down everyday for the same stuff and it happens we just learn to adapt and get on with it.

just because one companies to lazy to consider a more fair solution doesnt mean you should automatically dismiss another before they have the chance to hear folks opinions on the matter

Maintenance rotation presents risk for mis-scheduling and confusion- both with the datacenter staff as well as with players.

Do you really think that the server guys want to be working at 3am thier time and not in bed ?

lets just be happy they are trying to resolve the issues with the servers and stop making out it is a US against the rest of the world thing IT IS NOT.

so it's just a co-incidence most us based server mmo's always stick their timezones in UK playtimes, it's not a us against the world thing isnt simply a lack of consideration for others thing.

Lets see... you gripe about maintenance, and are given an explanation on how maintenance times are determined... and the above is your response.

    But, you had previously posted:

Which begs the question, why the "other people" are stupid in their threads but yours is not?

I don't mind the time of day that it's down, I just hate that it's down for so long. If they could keep the downtime to less than an hour I would be happy, even though it would still be right in the middle of when I have time to play it.

It is a well known fact that the server repair crew lead is a hillybilly redneck anti Euro extremist who laughs every time he screws over the rest of the universe with the flick of a switch......:p

because your post appears to have no basis to it and would go nicely in other's thread's troll, I'm suggesting a solution which I hope crytic will see, if other people post in the thread is really neither here nor there, as long as their not trolling, their threads suggest no solution making them, much like you, stupid, i'm making a suggestion hence its a valid post

Because the servers are in the US, Cryptic is in the US, they are going to choose a downtime that makes the most sense to them, not you.

So lets see doing downtime when it effect the LOWEST ammount of playing customers is a bad thing ????

Let be realistic it is only 2 hours and they are sorting stuff out for the good of the game and if i was running the servers im sorry i would do it exactly the same look at the time it will effect the least people, Feel sorry for the AUS players it is real Primetime there about 10pm so you really think we are hit bad 11am till 1 pm is not primetime in the UK or Europe.

Oh well, servers are up, everyone is going to play, and this thread will roll off to oblivious. A shame, since the OP was onto such a great idea too.... I'm really surprised Atari hasn't offered the OP a board seat yet. :p
