Lower level PvP was much more fun, too many overpowered ablities now

I used to really like PvP. I did it a lot as Lt. Cmdr.
I did mostly missions as Commander.
Im Captain now and did some PvP again... and i must say its annoying as hell.

Today's PvP Highlight:
  • Salvage Operation Large Capture and Hold

    I fly a bit forward and look at the flags. 1 is fed but not captured, 1 is Klingon inside that Nebula with about 6 Klingons cudled together in a ball. (no idea what for ... its capture and hold)
    I fly to the mining base to the left. I have mask energy signatue on, hoping its finally fixed.
    The icon turns red. And i see a Klingon cruiser there.
    I open fire, but for 10 seconds the cruiser just sits there doing nothing.
    Then he does the evasive maneuver and emergency power to engines combo to run.
    I do the same and follow him.
    I keep firing on his aft shield while hes running. He doesnt even bother to shoot back.
    His next running attempt was Ramming Speed. And again i did the same thing and stayed in weapons range.
    Following with full power to engines so he doesnt get out of range. His aft shield is slowly going down.
    He uses Science team and his shields go back up to full. ...
    Bit annoyed i keep firing, his shields get back down eventually. His hull goes down to 50%, and i think *http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4aWJGtWqKM*.
    But of corse not, he uses Engineering Team, Rotate Shield Frequence and some ability that made a green circle around his ship (whatever that is).
    Well his hull is repaired and his shields are going up again.
    While i keep firing i look at the score and see that the Klingons hardly have any influence left ... match almost over.
    But his shields are down now and his hull is almost dead.
    But what else ... it seams Science Team has recharged and he uses it again.
    Another 20 second god mode for him, great.
    Well in the end i got what i wanted though. I blew him up. I tryed to fly back to my team mates, but by the time i arrived the game was over... :rolleyes:

That was only a small thing though, i just wrote this because it just happend to me.

Getting chain fired with Viral Matrix is the real "fun". Thank god i have Attack Pattern Omega III now, so theyll have to look for a other victim.

Of corse then there is still Jam Sensors which is more like Cloak Firing then jamming Sensors...
Look at the Episode Shattered Mirror (DS9, its at about 28min), thats what its supposed to be like.

And in my opinion the Science and Engineering teams are too powerfull. Escpecially when having multiple teams at once.

Viral Matrix, Jam Sensors, Reverse Shield Polarity, Science/Engineering Teams, Ramming Speed and other overpowered abilites i dont know about yet really makes PvP unplayable in my opinion.

And of corse my favorite ability Mask Energy Signature gets bugged up by the devs because its supposed to be "overpowered".
A ablity that hides you from enemy sensors at bigger distances, drains your shields, and cannot be used in combat.

How can they call that overpowered when they have ablitys that are pretty much god mode buttons...
