Not that its a big deal but im just curious. I went to gamestop today and bought a copy of STO and on the box it says "gamestop: Enterprise starship included, fly the classic flagship of the federation". So when I get into the game does that mean ill actully get the old Enterprise?
It's not named the enterprise. To get it the radar/minimap in the top right corner, bottom right side of it click the down arrow. Then visit c-store and the special unlocks tab.
I liked the base ship everyone gets better. It turned faster.
The Constitution has 2500 more hp, but that's generally the only difference. The normal issue ships are smaller so they can turn tighter. I'm on an Excalibur now though so I decomissioned them both to make room for other ships.

It's just cosmetic.
