Crystalline Entity: From Cakewalk to Impossible in 4 Simple Steps...

1) Fix quest info so anyone that can navigate sector space can find it (good).

2) Buff the Crystalline Entity so anyone with "Ramming Speed" can't one-shot it (good).

3) Buff the CE's shards so they actually mean something (good).

4) Make the Crystalline Entity encounter impossible because it requires a raid, and it encourages pugs... (killer)

Seriously, the quest to destroy the CE would be completely awesome... if it forced people to enter as a raid rather than a pug. No matter how much people try to warn everyone else through chat, there's always that one new guy that either just warped in, doesn't have chat up (like myself, usually), or just doesn't read chat (regardless of CAPS, etc.), and screws it all up over... and over... and over... and over... and over... and over... and over... and over... and over... and over... and over again.

When you fight the CE for an hour and can't get it below 30% hp because of this -- it's far more frustrating than fun.

RAIDs required -- that's my favorite option.

I'd also appreciate it if the Lieutenants would gtfo. Your dinky little ships actually hurt us more than they help.

    Your Avatar is cool.

Reminds me of Soldier with Kurt Russle

But it so unobscured with Rayne and such, that I would guess that is the intent.

And of coarse Kurt Russell was also in The Computer that wore Tennis Shoes, Dr Who Reference there, and of coarse SG1, and we get that reference. And a few others.

Then it also reminds me of Raina, which is a great story and character also.

    A clip from that movie.

As a side note, the one eyed man has no depth perception. lower dimensional perspective.
