Hey guys, I hit max level last Friday and have been doing the single repeatable daily since.
This is however, rather boring. Anyone else got ideas on what to do? There seems to be no 'instances' or even meaningful BG's to do, can someone help me out/tell me what I'm missing?
Join a Fleet and help people out, PvP, the dailies (as you mention), exploration missions (to get other gear in the mean while). Raiding is to be added soon, amongst other things. Check out the home page for more information.

Just try to farm and hoard gold until the "45 day patch" is released.
Now, hopefully you learn your lesson that rushing through the game only ruins the fun and avoid making the same mistake with future content that they add.

If only you could learn the lesson that because you level slowly, you don't have any kind of moral high ground to spew out your judgmental garbage.
Wht's that? Your reply was not relevant, or justified? Yes, that is a troll.
You don't have to rush to be Admiral. I've had an Admiral for a while now. No rushing involved. I'm rushing my second character though (not reading story text I've been through 10x, skipping as many mobs as possible, etc). :P

There is no rush involved, I've been RA5 almost a week and I intentionally took my time, did all the missions and even did exploration ones to get uncommon badge items in the higher levels knowing that I'd outgrow them on the next rank.
If you mean people shouldn't be playing more than a hour or two a day, well that is an opinion. Some would consider drinking at bars, watching TV, window shopping, etc to be a waste of time compare to playing an online game.
These people simply post game forum genero-TRIBBLE. No though involved.
No one who uses the lines:
"Cool story Bruh"
"Go back to WoW"
anything involving "QQ" or "srsly"
"It's your fault for playing the game! The devs are not responsible for providing end game content, it's the player's responsibility to never get there!!1!!" as we have in this case.
The guy who said he reached max level last Friday, which was the 5th. You know, 3 days after launch for 60/70/80(depending on who you ask) hours worth of content

Keep in mind head start was Jan 29th, the game has been live for over 2 weeks.

Oh, ok. So that makes a total of 7 days(from Jan29 to Feb 5, the date the OP said he reached max) for 60-80 hours worth of content(again, depending on who you ask), meaning playing an average of 10 hours a day. No, thats not rushing at all
I hit level 45 a few days ago too and have nothing left to do. I sign on, I do a few exploring missions for the badges, I do the daily. I do a defend the sector and only an hour and 45mins has gone. Then I'm left just floating around or running around my bridge while talking to my fleet.
I'm trying not to be bored but I am getting there.

And why does it matter to you anyway? You are sir, by definition, a troll.

I know people that work between 40 hours to 80 hours a week, I guess they are rushing work too.
Some people have more "free time" than others, some people have accessibility issues and it's easier for them to play at home on a game than other activities, those are just a few examples.
I see rushing based on low /played versus percentage of 24 hour day spent playing the game.
Yeah, Klingon content needs to be their prioty as soon as they get the raid-i-oides released.
For one a lot will switch and start leveling.
Honestly i'd rather have them working on Klingon content in lieu of high-level content. We can always roll klingons while they work on those raidisodes.
By the way, what level are you, and what is your average playtime?
Also, have you played during CB?
I am currently Lt. Com 4, so I guess thats 14 or 15. I play 1-3 hours a day, give or take, but not every single day. I played during CB, OB, and started on the headstart. I could play more if I wanted to, but as so many people will attest, I know there is currently a content gap, so I'm not going to rush into it

Sounds healthy. And smart.
But honestly, more content will only be added faster if more people ask for it.. and the more people play, the more people WILL ask for it
The bad thing is, that if everyone played at the same pace they play EVE for instance (3 to 4 hours a day), Cryptic would have a higher deadline to deliver the content, since it would take a looong time for people to get to higher levels.
So in a nut-shell, these guys are doing both you and me a favor don't you think?

Who said anything about rushing?

Are to be taken seriously.

Aw, thats cute. You think you can hurt my feelings on the internet. Thanks for the laugh

Why does whether or not it matters to me matter to you?
So I made a new character. Cryptic needs to BADLY get the klinks balanced with the feds in content. Otherwise they will have some trouble soon...

Please tell me your not actually trying to compare a recreational video game with something people have to do to survive
Answer me first, and i'll answer your question based on the answer you give for my question.
By the way, if playing 10 hours average a day is rushing, what do you call playing 18 hours a day with a TRIBBLE sock by your side, like WoW'ers do?
Thats ok, I dont really care if you answer
Sad and funny. Sad when the person in RL has health problems, but funny when South Park makes episodes about it
