What is with the 12:00 PM PST "unexpected" downtimes?

Is it just me or is it really, really, really strange that the servers "crash" and have "unexpected downtime" at noon all the time? I know this was observed before, just re-stating it.

I haven't been tracking it to be certain ... but this time of day for a "system down" is starting to feel rather familiar to me as well.

Ever heard anything about different time zones? Like, for instance, my time zone. GMT +1 - aka EU prime time.
    There's your answer.

Seems that whenever the servers go through the prime time of a major time zone (playerbase-wise), they go bye-bye, at least on weekends.
