I was curious to see if you actively participate in the auto fire arguments that go back and fourth on these forums or just sit back and…observe. I used to, but not anymore. I think I’ve got my auto fire issues answered; I just want to see how things pan out.

Nope I kinda ignore most everything on these boards in fairness, unless I'm in a particularly rowdy mood and need to engage in some constructive trollery (well, it's constructive for me)

I keep meaning to play with the macro functions a bit, one of these days I'll get round to it. (I'm a g15 user)

I do have two macros on my G15, one for ground which is a toggle macro which spams 1 2 1 2 1 2, etc. This replaces the auto attack they took out...

I also have a space version of it which fires all weapons in an auto toggle.

This has saved much fatigue on my calloused thumb.

I couldn't have said it better myself. The vast majority of the forums are nothing more than entitled children screaming about something or other that doesn't fit into their myopic worldview.

    However... http://xkcd.com/386/

...and I'm a staunch G13 user myself. I can't play anything without it anymore. So, yes, I do stay out of the discussions and chuckle at the life-threatening tone of some of the combatants.

    I do.

Because every MMO I've played has auto-attack. A foundation of baseline damage that specials build on. Phasers are that baseline of damage.

There's a reason no MMO I've played has a "manual" auto-attack, because it sucks and people don't like getting RSI (repetitive stress injury) because of it.

EDIT: I use a Nostromo n52. I've been using a N-series pad for the past 9 or 10 years now.

I am sticking with one shot sequence. like G2 (closest exposed enemy, fire secondary) and access to BO commands.

I use the G15 as well but I dont use auto fire or macro it.

I just use my mouse to click fire all and move with wasd-essentially I play it as if were a shooter. I'm LC9 atm and have no hand or multitasking issues. I did think about reassigning my BO skills but alt+# isn't a prob either.

Autofire people I don't get their issues because it's the same thing on shooters like COD and such.
