Hello everyone,
I'm in the Reaver Fleet and we recently decided to recruit a player by the name of
"[edited]" who was interested in our fleet. The problem however is that this guy only join, wiped our fleet bank clean and then left. Now I bet most of you figure that we did not set the fleet bank permissions properly.. but we did and even tested them. This was a couple of patches ago though and now the permissions for the fleet bank (at least ours) does not work. Anyone can grab whatever they want..
So now we want to warn fellow fleeters and players of this guy and of this bug/glitch. Happy hunting and hopefully you won't get screwed like we did. Best of luck, cya!

Im not sure if he took any stuff. But as far as I know he's the only person to ever quit our fleet and like I said he joined, and then immediately quit less than 5 min. after.
Apparently, judging by your post, DaSpock is just hopping around from fleet to fleet. And taking things too? Not cool.
DaSpock, you've been called out.
thanks for the information, perhaps I should've searched for a similar topic. But it would suck if more people go plagued by this guy.
Don't get me wrong. I wasn't complaining that you posted a duplicate topic. I was just letting you know that he's known for it and warning you about the other one.
I just remembered another name... (edited)
*Edited because the mods didn't notice this one*
Whoops. I wasn't aware of that.
However, until they fix the bank permission bug, I think people should know.
yes it is. But how to tell everybody that this person did what he/she did if you cannt say their name?
Exactly my point. So really that rule does not make sense to me.
Fleet leaders who are interested in who the person is can just send him a PM and he can tell them the name in private.
Sounds like a great way to get more people scammed while people wait for PMs to circulate.
And now you are harrassing/abusing him on the forums?
That makes you look like the bad guy if people find out you were lying to them.
Either way, if you don't like the game, the fanbois say to find one to your suiting.
considering there's been a topic on this same subject up for several days, im pretty sure a lot of people know. theres also in game word of mouth as well.
This, right here.
A simple search will turn up three more threads referencing the same sad sack, with many relaying their own, similar experiences. You'll also fInd him responding to those threads stating that it's their fault for letting him into their fleet. I'd call this one pretty well corroborated.
The rule is there to prevent innocents who did nothing wrong from getting griefed by jerks they had a falling out with. It happens all the time in MMO's. Somebody gets in an argument with a member of their Fleet/Guild/SG and the next thing you know one group is trash talking and making things up in an effort to "punish" the other party.
Other players seeing this figure when more than one person is saying the same thing that there must be some truth to the stories and blacklist the innocent victim just to be safe.
Please give a link. That way folks can see his @name. Unless its @Daspock which Im not sure it is.
You can escape a name, but you cant escape your @name without some trouble (such as buying another account).
Yeah ok that does make sense, but still if we're 20 people pretty much giving the same story then there has to be some truth to it :P I just wanted to warn as many as possible about this guy, would suck if more fleets got screwed
I mean they do keep logs right?
Until someone official takes care of this idiot, I for one think getting his name out there is necessary.
How much will you give me if I bring you his.her corpse?
(Corpses are items that are left floating in space after you pod someone in EVE)
A hoard of tribbles? Nah I just didn't know what else to put as topic, easiest way to get peoples attention without mentioning female body parts :P
Cross-posting is against the forum guidelines, but doing a search for 'dakirk' will pull it up presently (...and I quoted him, with his @name, a couple posts back).
I want to see these guys get banned as much as everyone else, it's just real easy for a group to spread misinformation about someone. Personally, I choose not to believe anything unless screenshots or chatlogs are provided.
Now the person/persons using the "Da" prefix in his/their names foolishly admitted to doing what he/they have been accused of in those other threads. Someone also provided a screenshot of the "theft" showing that the party being accused did indeed make the huge withdrawal.
