weapon type + damage type = stacking console buffs?

Was just curious since I can't seem to find the numbers in game :) I fitted my escort with all disruptor-type turrets, single cannon, and dual cannons aside from the torp launcher. Will the buffs from the +cannon console and the +disruptor console stack for these?

    Yes they will stack. Also if you stack two consoles of the same type you will get diminishing returns, but you can do that as well. To check for yourself just scroll over weapon fire in your UI, you'll be able to see in numbers the difference the consoles you install make in terms of damage.

    No, there aren't diminishing returns. Or if there are, they are so minute as to be unnoticeable at this point.

    To test this, I compared using 4 +30 disruptor consoles with 3 +30 disruptor consoles and a +21 cannon console.

    The former had a clear advantage over the latter. If there were diminishing returns, it was extremely minor. So I recommend continuing to stack on the most efficient and effective consoles. For me, that was 4 +30 disruptor consoles.

    Of course, if you want to mix up the weapon damage types, but stick with cannons, it's more effective to add +cannon consoles.
