LOL@YOU

Power leveling to cap then complaining about no content/burnt out is like driving too far off the road and complaining abut no pavement or a smooth ride.

    You are a hero sir.
Making one game experience longer by not playing it (by playing other games) is really...... I just dont have words for this.........

Now, hear my words!!! I will pay for this game but never actually play it. STO will last forever!!!

    Get some brain man.

Okay man, at least I don't come to a forum for people who work for a living and cry that my life is so uneventful I need more content for an online computer game.

Between this, Aion, Fallen earth, EVE, Mortal online beta, and other minor stuff like WORK AND LIFE, there is tons of stuff to do in this game right now.

I JUST hit 11 and I've been playing since OB. I actually READ! *GASP* my quests because I'm a ST nerd, and I GASP play other games when I'm feeling bored. Sometimes I only do a mission a night!

I don't pay for this game monthly, so maybe that's my motivation NOT get burnt out. After dropping ~$300 on this game, I'm going to make it last at least 2 years dammit!

Says the guy sitting at the PC grinning as he puts forth effort to confront faceless people across the world. Your must be so unsatisfied with your life, to come here, and try and 1up people you know nothing of! Perhaps in context, you think you've made a point.. and indeed you have.

All those things in your life that you've mentioned you do in this thread wasnt as important as engaging with people you deem not having a life. They seem awfully important to you. More important than your work, your other games.. maybe even your spouse/children if you have them? More important than instead of doing this, calling your mother and seeing how she is doing?

Sure.. i am putting forth the same effort. However, I am not the one trying to stay on a high road of self labeled high worth while wasting such "precious" time to tell people I am supposed to respect.. that I got a life and it is better.

You dont need to impress us my boy. We believe you. This thread proved just how good that life is!

Of course it is a lot of things to do. I am only reached Captain now. I also spend time with my GF, I have work and I study at an university.

I just cant understand how can you say that some people suck because they actually play the game. Maybe in the end you will have nearly same time /played like them when you hit cap. The game is short. I just got a level after only one hour. At captain.

Have fun, you paid 300 bucks for an experience we paid 50 bucks for. You have every right to make it last as long as you want.

Im Captain 5 and im holding myself back, don't want these last 10 levels to be over before content. So, yea, it's easy to level if I am Captain 5 and I play like 2-3 hours a day.

    You're totally right, I am a scumbag son/father/spouce/employee
    OR
    OR

It's Saturday morning, I'm eating a bowl of lucky charms and reviewing my clients emails for the week, watching re-runs of Bevis and butt-head all whilst in my bathrobe, and of course trolling the forums. I don't have any children, my mom is traveling with my dad, I work from home and my spouse is still sleeping.

You did catch me though, I actually paid for the lifetime sub JUST to come here and post threads to annoy people.

So.. you admit trolling these forums while eating your bowl of lucky charms, being so inefficient at work that you need to spend your saturday morning day off reviewing client emails, and watching reruns of Bevis and Butthead.

So.. couldnt you have.. I dunno.. instead of spending the time here trolling.. went and made breakfast for that nice girl you got? Or.. is that part of your life not so bright and sunny?

You really want to keep going at this?

I agree with the OP. I honestly can't see how anyone with a job and obligations beyond gaming could be anywhere near the level cap already. I mean, on a good day I'm able to put 2 to 3 hours in max and I'm lv6 in Fed, 11 in Klingon.

Your average player is probably not putting many more hours in either. Yes, the game will need - and almost certainly will get - more content. But don't rush through and then complain there's nothing left...

What? I work on sat because I can, because it's my company, because i make the rules and because answering emails isn't really a hard task. I only work ~15-20 hours during the week as it is, mostly in meetings and such.

And you're asking why I don't make breakfast for her?

Lol you're either European or a women.

You proved my point. And to everyone else reading the thread. Good luck with that fantasy world you call your life :o

Be careful, lifetime sub or not, you can still be banned if you take things too far.

So you play all those MMOs eh? I think you're the one who needs a life, not us 'powerlevellers'.

I dabble. I play other games too. I also read a lot, and watch A LOT of movies. I abuse my Netflix subscription.

Hey man by no means did I say I was living the life partying with models and whatever, not that it would even appeal to me, I just have been around long enough to know that rushing thru anything makes it not worth it. Trust me I had sex at like 12 and ruined it for myself in high school.

So basically, you're a graphics/web designer with one customer, if that, and you still live with your parents. Plus, you're obviously a racist who treats your 'wife' like she's a lower-class citizen. Well done!

Well my dad did help with the down payment on the house, but they don't live here. I don't have any clients anymore, all of my employees handle that stuff, I just meet with the accountant, the lawyers and my creative team every now and again.

I don't really like work if you don't get it by now.

    EDIT-

Just spoke with my manager, we have at last count 65 recurring accounts. So yeah. I don't even know how many individuals, (mostly companies) that is but it's more than 1.

Why? I'm terrible at cooking, which is why I'm eating cereal and not something complicated like toast or poptarts.

She's a doll who enjoys cooking for me and I love her for that, so I don't really see the problem. She has little else to do besides that and grad-school. She quit her job when I sold off part of my company.

PLUS I was being sarcastic about trolling, this isn't a troll more of a "slice of life" telling others how I enjoy the game but NOT rushing thur it and READING the quests and dialogue that someone in Cryptic took time to write down.

I'm a Commander, and I've been taking it slow. Doing a lot of exploration missions, crafting, and other things trying to enjoy the game as much as possible. But we just level too damn fast, I can't even finish all the missions in an area before I've leveled up to the next grade. Sure I can keep doing the missions for Commander when I reach captain, but there's no real challenge when I am +6 or more for the missions... Do I have to give up on side missions to enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played?

I may get stoned for this, but personally I'd like to get 30-40% less XP for each mission completion, at least after hitting Lt. Commander.

And in response to all you other people LOL its is sooo obvious your all nolifers that got offended cuz someone made a statement about how he cant understand with his real life how he could get to lvl cap.

You also all seem to be very angry at him cuz he has his own house, so I am guessing most of you still live with mommy and daddy, you also all seem to be jealous that he has a wife, so Im guessing you are all still single, AND you also all seem to be VERY jealous and interested in his job leading me to beleive that that is yet another thing the op has that you do not. AND thus since the op has all this stuff you dont, you get mad, and flame and troll and now even report??? LOL Oh man pathetic.. truly, pathetic.

My fiance is awake now and wants to thank all of you who supported her and came to her defense when it was implied that I was making a misogynistic comment about her, women, and their role in the kitchen.

I, of course, was merely commenting on my own lack of knowledge when It came to the culinary arts, and well, when I want a sammich, she is always there to the rescue.

Thanks to all of those like her!
