Anyone Else Canceling After 30 Days

I have come to the conclusion that after just a few days of playing this game and with NO SUPPORT from the company...I have 9 tickets open with NO REPLIES....that this is going to be a TREND and with all of the other problems between getting your ship stuck in an asteroid or playing a ground combat game and your character just FREEZES and can't move him at all....that this just DESTROYS all of the fun of the game.....Map navigation is confusing and not very well thought out and traveling distances are time consuming and just lame. I can not think of one aspect of this game that doesn't need an OVERHAUL....Sad...I am a fan and was hoping for better....

Just wanted to know.......How many of you guys are going to cancel their subscriptions with this company before the 30 day period is over ????

I don't see much playability in this game for longer then that....TOO FRUSTRATING TO PLAY WITH ALL THE BUGS AND NO SUPPORT STRUCTURE.

Aye im done after the free time is up.. But only for a few months while they get the game together. From my understanding they were under the gun to get the game out or lose there licence. So you can't totally fault them. Now its just up to them to get the game into its proper shape. I have faith in them... but I wont be paying in the mean time.

I just gave a review two days of game play, and sadly I will cancel before my 30 day expires. I have less issues with technical failure (game freezing, and such), but the ground mode is just not for me because I honestly think it needs a lot of improvement.

LMAO. I actually did subscribe to the game. I reached commander level and now getting really bored with cookie cutter quests . So I cancelled the subscription. Besides I didnt want to play a MMO to solo online. But I will keep my eye out for anything new and I will keep playing here and there until the end of 30 days.

At least the lifers who paid over $200 will keep the game populated if there is a mass exodus within the next couple months. I still feel the game is worth subscribing to personally, but there are many valid points I've read why people are canceling barring the (flame quitters) which lose my respect and really is unnecessary. Giving reasons why you're canceling is fine and can even be constructive, but going out in a flaming troll fireball is just lame.

The game only gets better, as you get further into it and so far I'm happy with what they've added. So definitly will still be playing.

I canceled after about 5 days of casual play. Too many reasons to go into.

    I'm not!

It's not a perfect game, but it's also an MMO a week and a half after launch. And it's fun.

    I canceled on Feb. 6th.

I am thinking about giving away all of my stuff on March 4th, the last day of my sub.

All ready canceled, its not the lack of content, its the fact that they released it as a finished product, i have only played Warhammer from beta, and even in beta that game had way more content, i know a lot of people are cool with paying for the last third of the game develpment, but im not.

If there is not a serious set of additions to the game before the 30 days is up I'll cancel as well. I'll keep checking back to see if it looks anymore like star trek, but as of right now nope. Won't pay for this past 30 days.

Come back in three months, Theres no way possible they can go through all those tickets in the timeframe. 9 tickets, wow is all i can say. If you summit that many, and everyone else does, thats alot of tickets at launch. come back in three months, It should be less chaotic by then.

Already got the lifetime. Its got all the storylines in it to startrek , im satisfied, 1 year and 4 months worth of paying for a lifetime, still worth it, pleanty of time, after year 1 when its fixed and going on year two, I'm 100% sure that all these bugs will be fixed and I'll be flying for free 8).

Probably not appropriate for lifers to answer since they will never cancel by default.

Im a lifer and will be staying but I do have a pretty big problem with the game itself right now and its more to do with long term enjoyment than anything. I want to say up front Im not quitting and Im happy with my lifetime subscription.

But I do think they made leveling entirely to easy. I reached admiral long before the expansion was added and was quite happy even though I couldnt advance anymore. What ticked me off was the expansion kind of.

Heres new content, which is fun but Im being rewarded 500+ skill points per mission. Which is good right? Well since Im max level its not giving me the exp. Some say they will raise the level cap, cool. But if I do the new content now I wont get the exp later when the level cap is raised. Lame.....

I probably wouldnt be near as irrated if the skill tree was more self explanitory. Its pretty cryptic(pun I guess) as to what does what in a bunch of areas. Since they decided to level/skill cap things how do you know what to spend what points you can get on effectively?

Again I love the game. My only issue with it is leveling, Either make it take a TON longer to level which is too late now or raise the level cap skill points wise or something.

I'm a lifer so obviously I'm not canceling, but if I wasn't I might actually cancel my account after the 30 days, though I'm not 100% sure since I am not in that situation. The thing is that the game has a lot of issues that needs to be worked out, and frankly I think I'll enjoy watching the game evolve especially since I do have a lifetime subscription.

You guys kill me, gonna cancel already? And go back to what? A game that you left already cause you are BORED?
Seriously, it sounds like this MMO doesn't give you what your prior MMO gives you. I don't know how to say it any other way: You are spoiled brats!
No MMO is going to give you what you want or expect. Either play or don't. No need to create "Cancel" post on the forums.

I get frustrated like everyone else, but you know what? I can't see me going back to SWG cause I was bored to tears playing it. Also, I played WoW, Aion, Eve and they were no better. STO is new, will have bugs and will expand in the future. The other games have years on STO and the similarity is you can grind a toon from 0-whatever level in a week......so, whats the point?
The point is: You will never be satisfied.

How can you compare to Warhammer? Seriously? This game is in a league of its own....you can't really compare it to Eve either. Hey look! It has space! Eve has space! They are the same!

    Lame...

To be fair there are some pretty good missions in the game. "City on the edge of never" comes to mind, also "Suspect" at captain 1 is considered by many to be almost as good, especially the twist at the end.

At least cryptic demonstrates that they can make decent, star trek-like missions, so not cancelling for the first month at least.

...But I am looking forward to the decrease in lag that should happen when the whiners all run out of free play time.
