I was wondering how much time it will take to meet invincible guys in PVP. Answer is 10 days after relase.
Guy is minus 2 lvls and can take 10 sec slavo Plasma Mark IV with rapid fire LVL 9 and a salvo of quantum torp Mark IV without a scratch on his shields ...
He turns back and Toast me in 3 sec despite all the shields repair.
You know, it's the thing with cheaters, they are not discreet. They are pretty easy to spot.
Hope I won't meet too much of these guys.

I was gonna say that.
works against energy weapons
I will admit that the guy who ramming speeded me and did 26,000 points of damage made me a little angry, but what the heck, it is a game. I got potted for 12,000 points by a PvE Battleship that blew up right next to me.
Chances are he was using reverse shield polarity, which converts incoming energy weapon fire into more shields, rather than damaging the shields. Quantum torps of course are kinetic damage, but the damage they did was probably nearly instantly repaired by the plasma cannon energy that was flooding in on him. Your only hope against a target using RSP is bleedthrough damage and kinetic damage. It only lasts for about 10 or 15 seconds, and it has a long cooldown (3 minutes at minimum), but tier 3+ BoP and battlecruiser players can have two BOs with this ability letting them use it twice in relatively close succession.
You can see the RSP effect on a ship by a pulsing green glow inside the shield ring. It's pretty distinctive if you're up close. Of course, when a ship taking massive energy weapons fire seems to maintain full shields you can also kind of figure it out.
I can do it thrice in my starcruiser :P
No but if he keeps firing Plasma weapons at him it will repair any damage they did.
And torpedoes do poor damage against shields. So... Reverse Shield Polarity and all the enemy phasers start healing the shields while the torps, which are already hardly affective, do a smidgen of damage, which is probably so quickly healed by RSP that you'd never even see them do anything.
RTFM, people, RTFM!
Well, when all else fails.. you can always ram him
In my case, i don't think that any sort of buff will save a guy if i ram my 900m, 40 decks, 5.000.000 metric tons star-cruiser on him at max impulse
If it's soooo OP, why haven't seen it before ?
And is it available at LC1 ? Cause the guy was LC1.
Why do I think this is not convincing at all ?
If you want report the guy. As i say;
PICTURES
Or it never happened.
As far as we are concerned what you saw was reverse shield polarity.
Hit someone for 250k before now
I actually think there is an exploding ship bug somewhere, but three huge damage totals do not equal bug.
It's a lieutenant engineer BO ability. Since you can't have lieutenant BO's when you yourself are a lieutenant, you won't see it until lieutenant commander. Since birds of prey can use one lieutenant BO of any type, your opponent probably was using a lieutenant engineering BO.
So, yes, you can use it in a BoP (but not a raptor) as a klingon at LC 1, but not before that (in any ship). On Fed side, Tier 2 cruiser can use it but not other ships at that level.
Pictures of what ? The guy not taking damage ? Picture of you not taking me for an idiot ?
It happened, I have enough experience in PVP to know when I meet one of these guys and I don't care if you don't believe it.
Think of me when you will meet him or one of his mate.
But you are an idiot.
It is traditional when talking about PvP and making big fish stories to provide screenshots of the combat log (at least). After all, I soloed in 1v5 PvP with a Tier 2 Escort against 2 battleships, 2 carriers, and an escort, and had three of them blowing up at the same instant I was so fast on the triggers. Of course people cannot tell if I am telling the truth, or how I ended up doing this without a glimpse of the log.
You really think one of his girlfriends is playing?
This is usually what idiots think about other people. That's the way you recognise them.
meant ramming speed
Don't bother yourself with offensive people. And try not to be offensive yourself, i'm not treating you like an idiot, so be calm.
Like Battleunit said, show us your combat log.
So what you're saying is that it is impossible for someone who isn't an idiot to believe someone else is one?
I mean seriously... it's basically just a veiled version of "I know you are, but what am I?"
Seriously man, I've explained to you exactly how what you described can be done using abilities that are in the game. I've also explained how this is possible in a bird of prey at lieutenant commander, but not before. Unless you have some other kind of information that is inconsistent with the usage of the reverse shield polarity, I think it's safe to say your accusation of cheating has been refuted.
No it isn't. Starting pointless whine threads with no proof of anything and no understanding of game mechanics is how.
tl;dr: you.
Thing is I don't remember the guys name and the combat log is pretty difficult to decipher.
Weird thing is I can't find the sequence when I shoot at him ....
