Almost every time there's at least one person trying to afk mooch off of everyone else. Heck, I've tried it a few times. :P

Though... it usually doesn't work. If I see an afk person I leave. The same goes for the two times I tried to afk. My teammates left. lolz

Turn it off! You can complete missions faster solo anyways (except sometimes ground missions). This all happened because I accidentally left it on for a long time.

I refuse invites in DSEs, teaming up makes the mobs harder to kill and usually gets the group leader all the lewt.
we are already working together clearing the instance, why would i want to team up and deal with the insane looting rules?

at least for me, I dont entertain thoughts of collecting loot in DSEs, theres usually too many stronger players who can out dps me and my little cruiser anyhow. So i simply go there for the exp.

and you can solo afk in a DSE with no problem and still complete the mission without grouping up with the other players

There was this one guy that tried to mooch on a signal contact mission by just having me on auto follow in a bonus Connie and doing nothing then found himself in the middle of a squadron of enemy ships. Was quite funny to see.

Although I don't doubt that these people exist, you guys just have some horrible luck. The only guy i've ever seen AFK like that actually came back after 1 fight saying that UPS was there with his copy of the game :p
