So I decided to try my hand at a space PVP mission and afterward started wondering if pvp is unbalanced or if the players were just bad.
I had 2 deaths and ended up getting like 10 kills with most enemies being +2 - +4 above me. I am currently in a Science Vessel at the Lt. Commander rank.

Any ideas why this happened?
Teamwork, your level was a bit low, and your ship not fitted correctly. Dont give up.
Well, I haven't tried PvP as Feds yet, but PvP as a Klingon is pretty awesome. I mean, when all your weapons face forward and everybody can cloak, it get's pretty tactical. I've actually won multiple matches by rallying my team when they were losing and giving them a battle plan. Great stuff.

actually I am saying the opposite, I tore up the enemies.
Oh shoot, your right I totally missed that one didnt I.
I have seen that a couple times, not often tho, you ran into some noobs is all, most Klingons I run into are +3 - +7 and are VERY tough to take out.
Good times
Science ships are very good.
Also you never know how organized or not the other side is. If they are totally disorganized, you can rip them up.
