Bug report question. (No bashing here, I swear)

My GM requests are all bug reports.

And yes, they do respond to bug reports. I have had a few tell me they will look into it in the report notes.

Problem is, I have a few things I could not do because of the bugs.

Thing is, it would be nice for a LIVE GM to say, "Hi, how can I help you?"

So, my question to everyone here is, has anyone gotten to speak with a live GM?

I don't recall playing a cryptic game before, so I don't know how their GM system works.

How does one get a hold of a live person for help?

Thanks in advance. :)

frankly due to everything being an instance I'm not sure CS can do anything live to help you.
restarting the instance wont help, you can do that yourself
so that pretty much leaves inventory and other DB items that they can actually touch and help with.
everything else is so compartmentalized and multiuser that they probably cant do much for anyone

First on a personal note, big fan - Zaphod Beeblebrox -President of the Galaxy :D

One instance, I went through a long quest that took about an hour to complete. At the very end I had to kill a named guy. The named guy would not actually die. His life would be at zero and he just kept on fighting.

After about 5-10 min of trying to kill him with no success, I beamed out and beamed back down. Now he was gone and the quest said to still kill him.

It would have been nice for a GM to spawn him for me, seeing as I went through all of that to get to that point.

    *shrug*

I put all the specifics in the bug report.

I don't remember what it was called now.

I only ask because I've been involved in 3 different in-game chats about the mission War is Good Business. In each of those discussions the person swore the mission was bugged because they couldn't kill the Ferengi at the end. Unfortunately the mission wasn't to kill the Ferengi, it was to tag/capture him. I just wanted to know if that was the mission you were talking about.

Oh, no this was a Romulan and the quest actually says to defeat him. I was able to finish it by dropping the quest and doing all over again, but it would have been nice to have a GM to help out.

In most other online games, i am willing to wait 10 to 20 min for a GM to contact me with help. Most of the time, this happens. ( on good days)

I have yet to see a live GM in this game, so I was just wondering if it is even possible to get a hold of a live GM in game, or is it all reports and deal with it yourself.
