Make daily quests 23 hours?

lets say you do your daily quest and finish it at 1pm the first day....

the second day you cant pick it up untill 1pm. and you finish it at 1:30 pm.

on day three you cant pick it up till 1:30pm and you finish it at 2pm.

seeing what im seeing? most people only play for a few hours a day. they have jobs and lives. at some point they will not be able to do there daily quest because they have to log off before its available to them. missing your daily quest is going to get irritating.

other game developers have seen this issue and made there cooldowns last 22 or 23 hours. can you please change this so that we all can do our dailies EVERY day?

...that or just pick a time when the population is at its slowest and make that the reset time for your daily quests. like 3am server time. i know this game is played all around the globe but once people know that it resets at the same time very day, they'll know when to have their quest done by if they couldnt do it the previous day.

Agreed, a 24-hour countdown is awful, because it forces you to do the dailies later and later each day. I think WoW shortened their timer to something like 20 hours.

It needs to be 1 of 3 things, other than 24 hours from completion:

    1. 24 hours from when you pick it up, like the others are 30 minutes from when you get the mission.

    2. 22 or 23 hours from when you finish it, so you can roughly do it at the same time every day.

    3. A global reset at some time, such as midnight pst or whatever time least impacts the server.

Any of those would be a far better choice than what it is currently.

how do you know what it is currently if it hasn't been a day yet?

It needs to be less than 24 hours measured in real time not server up time. I would prefer a daily reset instead and if the rest happens while you are on the mission you could do it again right away. That should work for everyone regardless of time zone.

the more i think about it, the more i think it should be on a global reset, as i don't remember when i did my quest, so i dont know when i need to log in to do it. /rage

It's been well over a day, the day doesn't start when you wake up or log on.

23 hours and 45 minutes in real time should be a good amount of time for a daily quest.

The reason I did not say 23 hours and 59 minutes should be obvious if you have been reading.
